Empty match issue and FFAROUND message

I’m experiencing laggy gameplay & freezing game (I could move but everyone else freezes) in the last 2 versions of WR. Even watched ads didn’t registered. The problem become more severe in the last version.

-- Connection type WiFi.
-- ISP: StarNet
-- There’s no other connection options.
-- Sometimes using VPN to connect to other region & restart WR help. Playing FFA is better while BR or Dom are fragile to experience the problem.
-- Lately it has become a constant problem. I’ve check the internet connection using Speedtest. Mine got 20 Mbps for down, 10 Mbps for up, & relatively low jitter. With the same connection, I have little issue like this in the past.
-- It happens more often around 15-20 PM GMT+7. Overall stability of my connection does affect the frequency of the issue.
-- My in-game ID: AEJE9T.

-- Does it help if you change the connection type before trying to enter another battle, but not restarting the game?
-- Does it help if you change the connection type when also restarting the game before trying to enter another battle?
-- Is that a constant problem? Does it happen all the time when you try to play without changing your network settings? Or you can sometimes play normally without taking additional steps?
-- If the issue is irregular, does it happen more often during certain hours? Does the overall stability of your connection affect the frequency of the issue?
-- Your in-game ID (optional, but might help)

Also, this isn't really related to the ffa bug but this is kind of the only place I see you, but ever 3rd or 4th match I play I keep getting this reconnecting screen every 20 seconds, have you heard of this bug shredder? It's really annoying and because of it my damage stops counting for some reason, so I don't do as much damage, and when I'm in combat with an enemy the game freezes for a bit and then I end up dead, its driving my cups down sadly

That's why I keep flopping between masters and champs

I actually had encountered a few issue over the last month or so. First, when I entered a match, I opened control center when i dropped into a Fenrir for a fee seconds to check something. When I swiped it away, the game lagged for a few seconds, got a “Reconnecting…0” prompt for a second or so before the ui disappeared and then brought me back to my hanger. The other one happened last month, I entered a match and got the 0:00 timer and no players. Wifi connection was smooth for both encounters.

the encounters were inconsistent and changing connection types didn’t seem to have any effect.

didn't change connection and i got in battle fine the 2nd try
is not a constant problem, and it happens extremely rarely

also -- as personal opinion, i think is related to my provider having some sort of issues. there are many tourists in the city, and the connection started struggling since they came...

My wifi connection has a speed of 100 Mbit/s but at certain times of the day it is very unstable, meaning the connection is lost and then comes back after 30 seconds or so. I found when I'm playing in the condition where my wifi connection was lost and am about to change a bot, the screen gets stuck in the change bot screen and I can't drop my other bots anymore. Similarly if it happens when I'm changing a beacon then the beacon won't change no matter how long I stay on it even if my connection was restored. In the same way my no players battle also occured.

Oh I should probably post again; I got a Motorola One 5G Ace and I have been unable to find a non broken session since my OneTouch Nord N100 broke.

My budget is 3 figures btw and I would've spent over 50 this week if it weren't for these strange compatibility issues. Lots of good platinum deals I missed out on because I don't know if I'll ever be able to play WR again 😓

That is a bug due to connection issues, I occasionally have it but is when my wifi is weak. Try getting a stable connection.

a detail tho: it happened only during squads for me, and in both cases the leader canceled the search to avoid randoms.

I found a temporary fix for the issue when people select a robot and do not spawn in a match. just briefly pull up control center or go to home screen, just long enough that the reconnect prompt appears and your robot should spawn in after it disappears, though it may already be damaged or destroyed. I've only tested it on ios and it has worked for me, I cannot say the same for other platforms or users.
