I usually use the wiki in this case
Get the total upgrade cost (gold and silver) and search what 60% of it is (if silver)

There's a rare chance to get upgrade rushes which halve the gold costs since it halves upgrade timers

But imo just go for the silver discounts

For t4 robots/weapons it costs 88.7M silver and 6421 gold to get that to mk2

So 60% of that for silver is 53.22M
