Rex is hard to use and it requires a lot of healing so its not insanely broken, does this mean it won't be nerfed to the ground? Ive heard someone assume after the 2nd or final hit, it will be worse than ochokochi.

Lmk what yall think, I personally think Rex either will get killed or not killed.

best counter is actually the new weapons

they do so much damage that the rex will either instantly die or take no damage lol

It is very difficult to master, i barley used it after i got it but now im just tryna get skilled with jt

i rely heavily on the built in weapons damage

I think they will nerf the passive DoT resistance % down to Condor levels, leaving the active DoT removal from the built-in weapon to shine. Or they will do the opposite to focus on making the bot as uninteresting as possible but either way not useless per se

Wait so you do agree they deliberately target their nerfs to make stuff uninteresting? Because since as you say Ocho already has it, for Rex to not just be little more than a Ocho reskin the sensible thing would be to keep the unique DoT removal and nerf other aspects

ocho doesn't have dot removal. I'm saying that, they might nerf the dot resistance of rex from 60->40% at mk3, just like they nerfed ocho's dot resistance

Yeah Rex has the DoT removal and that's one of the main thing that sets it apart from Ocho, so that's why I say the sensible thing would be to NOT nerf that, but nerf some other aspect like what it has in common with Ocho (the resistance)
