Pf basically 2 different playstyles, one with squads and one without. Without squads its a fragile but powerful support that can become a pretty good damage dealer later on and is best played as first drop with mid ranged weapons like hazard
I would recommend hazard, just use the last 2 bursts so you don't sit there for the full unload
Anyways if you do run squads there's the much more effective "support the titans" playstyle where you drop it as like no 3 or 4 and spam the mark on enemy titans for the nice 40% dmg boost. Probably either stick to the hazards (or smth similar) and pick off squishy supports or use Chione/damper to spread negative effects
