Pilot skills missing?

I returned a little while ago and noticed new pilot skills for scorpion, but they don't exist as a choice for my old max pilot? Is there a way to fix this or do I have to max out another pilot just for the skills to be available. The missing pilot skills: ferocious guardian, defence expert.

Not all skills are accessible to every robot, and some skills become unavailable once certain other skills are acquired.

Do you know where I can see what skills become unavailable based off what's currently acquired on the pilot?

When replacing pilot skills, there are cases where a skill that does not appear in the replacement list for Pilot Skill 1 does appear as a possible replacement for Pilot Skill 2. In that case, it means that Pilot Skill 2 conflicts with the skill you want to replace, and you can identify the conflict by checking this.

I am still seeing nothing unless I'm doing it wrong.

I've had this issue before, sometimes I've been able to solve it by clicking on each skill already attained, click change, scroll through the list. Though this didn't work for the dagon when I tried this method.

To see all skills available you could change the pilot to any spare level 1 pilot then look through the skills to see the whole list.

I did that's how I found out about the skills but I'm not sure which skill affects the other that makes it unattainable
