So extermination mode is a great source of keys and platinum to me right now, but I currently cannot get platinum rank in the last two stages. What weapons/bots should I go for to reach that?
my current PvE hangar is a Mk2 fenrir with blast shotguns and armadillo in one hangar, the other is a lynx with redeemer, curie with athos, and rook with 2x vaccum weapons and one cinder.
Any changes or additions to make to this? or do I just need more upgrades?

I have several problems, one of them being not enough damage, another being the titan doesn't charge fast enough, and doesn't deal enough damage once it's charged

MK2 seraph will help charge titan fast. As will helburner and shell ability.

redeemers don't feel good anymore and athos run out of ammo so fast

Depends on the stage. Sometimes 2.cinder 2 Pantagruel on heimdall. Sometimes 1 cinder huginn muninn luchador

No, there's a bot no. limit and a radius limit. You'd have to look it up, don't know off the top of my head though was reduced recently.
