#The "official APK download" doesn't make sense. Help?

So the point of the official APK is so I can download the Android app without GooglePlay Store. But when I install and open it, it forces me to log in to Google Play.

Why would they have this feature where you can play war robots on Android without the Google Play Store? Like if I lived a de-googled life without google play services, how do I run and play the game without a google account?

I get Steam exists but I'm wanting to get the android version so i can watch ad rewards (they don't have that on steam).

I tried it in emulator bc my phone is cheap and way worse than my pc.
