Briefly: I somehow managed to login through MY.GAMES using steam account (when I played war robots: frontiers)
Check it out: https://warrobotsfrontiers.com/ then click "Sign-in" in the top right, you will see in the opened window the option to do it through Steam.
Then I've gone to MY.GAMES and saw that my Steam account was there loginned as well. So I decided to copy the identifier (something like 15729057...@steam) and paste it for the server authorization (or there was an option to login through steam, I don't remember) and then the green "Linked!" appeared (that was such a big mistake lol)
Then, I discovered about cross platform, specifically with PC's. Downloaded MY.GAMES launcher, tried to login in using steam identifier, because there was no Steam option (copied from MY.GAMES site in the my profile) -> Authorization successful (showed in the browser)
But uh oh, the launcher says: you cannot use the accounts which are linked to Epic Games, Xbob, bla bla and Steam... (like I would know that beforehand for God's sake)
well shit
And I cannot change in war robots the server authorization's account that I save on!!!
There is also no way to use google play games for the MY.GAMES login
Already reported that in in-game support center
I guess I'm here for long..

I had a similar issue, tried contacting support both email and ingame through android but i didnt get any response regarding it, in the end i had to make another email and create another my.games account (did this to link my android account to my.games since the email i wanted ti use for it was already taken by mu steam account)
not sure if that can solve ur issue since idk if i fully understood ur issue, but hope it helps

When I linked through server I automatically got the my.games form, I pasted there my steam account from my games website (something like 175386429...@steam)
And then got redirected to the steam website, clicked "OK" or something like that, and it returned me back to the game, and now it's linked.
