Line up

So, I’m fairly new at war robots, just started yesterday. And put a few dollars in because why not.
Currently I’m running Falcon, Strider, Scorpion, and Jaeger.

I have Ares, Lancelot, Rogatka, Natasha, Pursuer, Weyland, Fury, Griffin and Gareth.

Is there a better team line up I could be using?

i'd get 5th slot

jaeger can leave

pursuer is surprisingly good

if you wanna switch out the strider, since that'll lose its strength sooner or later for being squishy

ares is good too

weyland is surprisingly tanky

Is the 5th slot really needed? I heard a few times that you can still use 5 robots total from your hangars even if you dont have 5 slots on both

So if i have 4 robots in one hangar and 4 in another I can still use 5

This is true, though as you progress you need 5 for staying in battles as you move up leagues and you need 2 hangars for pve/extermination mode which gives good resources.

with the hangar rework, you don't actually need to spend 5k gold on a 5th slot but just 1k gold for a new hangar already gives you 4+4 = 8 slots total, which you can use any during a battle

so the whole point of the 5th slot is kinda useless since there's an obvious discount
