Can typhoon survive in champion league and if it can which weapons should I run

I have a Typhoon upgraded in MK2 level 5 with Mace level 12 and I can say that he doesn't survive even in Master, what can we say about Champion

but I would say that in expert he plays quite well especially with cryo

Yes it can. Just be aware of whatever has shieldbreak and id just recommend you to brawl with the ghost pilot skill mostly because there are so many midrangers who just destroy the typhon 1v1 so id just brawl, high risk high reward gameplay and when it comes down to the gear well spikes are fun, havocs are fun, flames are fun and that's about it. I won't recommend stuff that will get nerfed to the ground so yeah.

at the time when i used it i didn't have a weapon like weber that's why i used mace then in master it played very well but now with new robots it can only do something from afar
