So basically instead of unlocking separate ultimate weapons or robots from data pads, you would now receive Ultimate Upgrades—special items that can be applied to any fully maxed-out (Mark 3) weapon or robot. There are two types: Ultimate Weapon Upgrade and Ultimate Robot Upgrade, and you can choose exactly which item to enhance. This transforms the selected robot or weapon into its ultimate form.

Why… ?

Pretty much this system is better because it gives people full control over their builds, rewards their progression, and adds value to the gear they’ve already invested in. Rather than chasing specific ultimate drops. Players should be allowed to obtain whatever ultimate weapon or robots they want and not have to wait until a different ultimate robot releases.

but the thing is, if they DO impliment this mechanic, then the game would just get more paw-to-win and there will be less fun involved as a F2P player

So ur making the Game slightly better on lower leagues
But unplayable for f2ps unless theyre gonna wait 3 months to Max out everything to finally be able to play the Game

Ue weapons would be a problem if the mogwans and stuff like regulators had been nerfed
