1st-Workshop bots:
- Ravana:
Absolute meta survivor, i use it since it came out and never took it off from my hangar, really good health, nice speed and with the trascendece ability it makes you stay a good time in battle, i recommend you use Cryos or Havocs on it, and if possible get his legendary as soon as possible.
- Scorpion:
Great counter against Condors, it makes you able to teleport behind enemies and do some good damage quickly and being able to return safe most of the times, i recommend using freeze rockets or sonic weapons with him along with the legendary pilot that gives you stealth when teleporting.
-
Siren/Harpy:
They still can be good in high leagues, since you can get a nice amount of damage while in the air while you have a reflector absorving some of the daamage you take, with the Yang Lee pilot you get shield break upon activating the robot ability, making a good counter against robots like Ophion, Dux, and pretty much every robot with energy shields, a tip is to mainly engage in battle while in the air since in the ground Siren and Harpy are very squishy and die quickly, i recommend using the bendy bullets weapons (Smuta,Razdor and Kramola) so you can get people behind cover while dealing a great amount of damage to them. -
Demeter/Mender:
Healer bots play a very useful role in match, being able to heal your allies in battle gives a good advantage by making them last longer and Mender and Demeter are the best robots for that, Mender with the legendary Pilot Marie Leclair is able to heal alot of the grey damage being able to bring an allie robot back to full hp.
Now Demeter can't heal as much hp as Mender but it can offer support from farther away since it can just teleport to the allie robot, after teleporting it gets an absorver shield and heals everyone in range.
I prefer the Jerry Fortune legendary pilot because of the 20% increase damage to everyone in range while the ability is active.
Both Robots are good with many of the weapons there is in the workshop, but i would use weapons like the Igniters and Blazes, Cryos and Rimes and many other options, you can look for a build with weapons you like to use and probally will go just well!
- Behemoth:
I used to play with this robot before replacing it to a Crisis, but still, the Behemoth is just an awsome sniper!
Prismas and Gauss work really well on it, since Behemoth is a slow bot the legendary pilot would help with also gaining defense points while the ability is active.
Honarable Mentions:
Typhon:
A really good firepower with 4 medium slots and a decent aegis shield, it has a strong ability and with the River Chase legendary pilot you get a 25% more damage for 5 seconds after activating the robot's ability, if you want the ability i recommennd weapons with medium range like pulsars.
But if you want more fun you could use the Adrian chong pilot with the Ghost skill along with close range weapons like Cryos,Maced or Havocs!
Overall a nice bot but because of the huge usage of Unstable Conduit it makes the Typhon struggle a bit.
Loki:
I love this robot and its really fun to play, its fast and a nice at capturing beacons, but since many people use Seeker drone in champion league it also ends up struggling a bit.
Weapons like Needle (not in workshop but obtainable in black market),Rime and Scatter work well on it.
Skyros:
Really good at capturing beacons like loki and and an absurd amount of health while in ball mode, but because of robots like Dux it gets killed often.
I recommend weapons like the Freeze rockets and Sonic family.
2nd-How to play:
Just play normally,i prefer modes like Beacon Rush or Domination because you can win beacause of beacon control even if ur going against stronger bots.
3rd-Avoid Meta Bots
You cant avoid them if you're in champion league, the most you can do is deal damage to them
while they are out of their ability because thats when they are more "Fragile".
.
4th-Where to invest recourses
Silver: Use it to build robots and weapons in the workshop and for upgrades, focus on upgrading weapons first and robots second.
Gold: Is likely you have the 5th hangar slot by now, so get the pilots for your bots, after that you can just use it to speed up upgrades.
Platinum: Same for your Bots, weapons first, upgrade them atleast to level 20 and then put all your focus into upgrading your titan, what you want to upgrade in your titan depends in wich one is it, but mainly is the hull for more durability and defense points.
Memorium: Hard to get but if you're in a clan wich gives a decent amount of it, save it till you can choose a good skill for your robot/titan.
Microships: 1st- Use a drone that is good and that doesnt have a big chance of getting nerfed or reworked, after you choose the drone upgrade it ONLY when discount comes because of how hard is to get microships.
Powercells: Be minimalist and use them wisely, dont spam Unstable Conduit, its a waste.
D-Gems:
Doritos (mk3 tokens): If you're gonna stick with a robot and wont take it off you hangar no matter what use them to upgrade to mk3, otherwise try to get a good mothership like Frederick.
And thats the advice i have if you have any questions you can ask freely
firstly thanks for your effort
can i use fenrir against the meta
Fenrir is not in a really good spot in the current meta sadly, i would say its good till Expert 1/Master 3 because after that it starts to become hard to play.
and i have an indra , rook as legendary titans
then i will ditch myu mk2 lvl 5 fenrir?
Normally it will endup being hard to play, but if you feel its still usable then you can use it
Upgrade the hull as much as you can, then put the core to level 20/25,and then Engine to level 30, so it goes from a titan with phaseshift to a real Indra, after that keep upgrading the core again till max level and then the Engine again to max.
Wich weapons are you using in your Indra?
I use Veyron and Evora on it and i feel its prob the best option for it,but Vajra and Maha-Vajra are also excellent.
maha vajra vajra
ravana's good
scorp
i can take common pad robots too
you're in luck, everything in silver blue's good
revenant's high investment but good
leech/phantom isn't bad
raven with nessa is good
mender/demeter's good
i think of leech hussars is fun'
or leech discipline
siren/harpy would melted in champs but besides that it's great
nah ik harpy is kinda bad
no, it's good
reflector will keep you alive against most things, and being that high up gives you alot of view of the map
and you have good firepower
okay
Agree with the siren. I got a few living legends with my siren in masters
