What to do with old robots and weapons?

Hi, i have a pretty decent hangar and im pretty sure i could get maybe to low master...
Tho... I have some old robots which I'd like to play with old weapons, such as Fujin tarans, raijin trebuchets, Galahad ecc...
The thing is, even if i mk2 all those old bots im surely gonna get obliterated by meta bots... And would i be called out for trolling or something since i would be using really weak bots?
And if i decide to not rank up to play those old bots, wouldn't that be still reportable for tanking? I really want to find a way to play old bots and old weapons efficiently. Without spending hundreds of €€€ for ultimates.

A way to get into master : probably not

you will get demolished by light spender in expert league and masters, you will meet tankers in a few games, but you will still probably be able to have fun, if you consider leech as an old bot you can play it 👍
else Tarans mk3 do the job, and predator videos showed that old stuff can still be good... As long as they are mk3

😭mk3 things seems hella expensive...

For reaching master league, it's doable as i have spent a little on Christmas(i have one hangar that is pretty solid), but the problem is that i really wanna play with <2018 bots and weapons too...

So im stuck at a point where if I'd wanna stay in leagues where pre-2018 robots are somehow capable of doing anything, I would never be able to use my other good bots cuz i wouldn't like to ruin other players experience since old robots would surely put me at a lower rank

For example. I got a ravager after a giveaway and i put on it 5 webers mk2. And as much as im happy to say it's a monster that 35% oneshots the enemies, if i wanna play with fujin and gareth i would end up staying in low ranks. And i wouldn't wanna use a ravager that can quite literally oneshot reds

For a person that is below champion league yes, for a person that is in champs it is not, the price is below 23M per upgrade for each one with the 40% discount, it's cheap for a champion that get between 300k and 1.5M silver a game

You should just keep them as collections… of the old days..

And you can use them for sage retro..

Hmm..maybe use them in the skirmish 1v1..not all are high league

I mean my Haechi is really solid if i play it with skill, but already the Haechi in 2017 was a literal better fujin

And i swear fujin is sooo cool to play

I really didnt understand exactly how to participate to those tournaments either so idk

The thing is, i feel like weapons are probably the most important aspect. I tried putting hazards mk2 on fujin and it was really good... Until it gets completely obliterated in seconds...

But man i wanna play tarans

Snipers…might work well…to prevent it from getting attacked too fast

Yeah i was thinking maybe the raijin as a sniper could even do well with some new weapons... And for fujin hazards were kinda like tarans 2.0 with longer range...

Still it means old weapons are completely useless...
Old robots would definitely be solid with mk3 new weapons... At least for damage

As long as people don’t use weapons that bypass the shields, raijin’s shields are undestroyabe…especially when mk3

Putting some really strong weapons on the older bots should do the trick for damage

And for survivability it will all depend on my skill to not die ig

I mean i got a bagliore in some random data pads and a crisis in the black market... Both 4 heavy weapons slots

I think tarans are gonna be the only decent weapons im gonna lvl up for the moment

Predator proved that wrong with the energy heavy sniper weapon that charge, and the Tarans

Rajin got a buff, and now while being in the bastion mode, deal 40% more damage or smh like that

Then i had some hard time with the older bots

I heard tarans are pretty consistent tho

That's why I'd like to focus on them first

The trebuchets are cool and all but take sooo long to charge... So I don't feel sure about levelling them up
