Nope. Even if you run it at a similar level now you'll do better than the indra overall. Can't be scared of the nerf. Nobody knows when it's coming, if it's coming, what's gna happen etc. For all we know they could nerf the indra. Invest in it.

Get lvl 25 on mauler and focus on the engine then core

U want the defence duration of hook to be pretty high

max out your weapons on the mauler (make sure they are good weapons) and then just use all your future plat to upgrade the mauler
