Hey Pixo, this is directed primarily at you, not any group of people, but as an entity. When I say “you” it means “Pixonic and everyone in charge” of the game as one big entity—designers, devs, and all of you.
I don’t think anyone outside this server trusts you to fix the game anymore. Every step forward is met by at least 3 steps back, and people have had enough. It’s no secret the game is dying. Most true vets have left, and even people with a genuine addiction are quitting. You shoot yourself in the foot and us in the face so often that even gambling addicts are leaving because it’s not worth the trouble.
How long do you think this is sustainable? Breaking the community into smaller chunks, turning the game into a cesspit more abhorrent than esports as a whole? Your game is full of cheating—pay to win or hack to win. Only one of those is moderated, and it’s obviously the one that fills your wallet. You’re driving away players who’ve spent hundreds, thousands, maybe more. Time’s running out.
You’ve got three options: let the game rot and lose support exponentially quicker, fix your practices, or end the game. I’m pretty sure you’ll let it rot—squeeze every last dime out until the final player deletes it.
Either way, I’ll be watching, laughing at those who thought staying was worth it. Anyone else reading this, go play something that respects your time and money. Thanks for reading, though not that anyone cares. I appreciate you spending time on my final contribution to this decaying game.
