Saving up resources
1.Dont buy weapons with gold unless , you really don't have any other weapon. Gold is valuable for buying legendary and Regular pilots.
2.Watch Ads and save the resources like keys for black market. You can get up to 10,500 a month just by watching ads and can open a super chest
every month.Only open gold chests for now.
3.Upgrade drones using microchips preferably during the leader boards.Same goes ranking pilots, upgrading weapons, ranking titan pilots, titan weapons and titan subsystems.
4.Battleships , which can be upgraded using the battleships appropriate components usually found in the bronze chest. Which you can open for free by watching ads.
5.Opening chests only on the 200% booster days will speed up the super chest progress bar.Same goes for upgrading titans, robot, drones and pilot some days have discounts on their upgrades which is random for every player.
6.Gift Code for free booster which can get by going inside the settings and then inserting the code : WARROBOTS10.
7.Complete your daily tasks no matter what and save up the platinum for upgrading better Titans.
8. Titans , kid titan is okay for starter
leagues. Don't upgrade more than level 30 .

Punishers/Punisher Ts are the best weapons you'll have access to for a while. They do good damage and are dirt cheap to upgrade.

play brawlers

reject snipers

play gepard to learn to manage speed

play leo to learn to manage health

play griffin, stalker and/or bolt to learn to manage ability

shielded bots are also nice since they forgive lots of mistakes

use workshop and black market to your advantage

android is good since you get ads

for low tier items (t1 + t2) don't upgrade past 9, not worth the investment

you can always ask more questions later on and we'll help you out

conserve resources, and when you get active modules, just use the cheapest option

the reason they're recommending punishers/thunders is because it's really difficult to get substantial amounts of silver at your level. Each punisher and each thunder is 11M silver to upgrade to max, each. That is a lot, but the other weapons you have are not that much better and cost way more to upgrade. You can tell which weapons and bots are cheapest to upgrade because they have a grey outline behind them.

Lancelot is actually okay for your level to upgrade a bit. Another bot you've probably been recommended is Leo. These are both Tier 2 bots, meaning they're relatively cheap to upgrade. They have the blue outlines.

Okay, so if I was you, I'd run a Gareth, a Leo, and your Lancelot. Gareth is the beacon runner, Leo and Lancelot are the brawlers. You can run your orkan and gust on the Gareth, which aren't the best weapons, but still pretty fun to use. Use thunders/punishers on the Leo and Lancelot for maximum damage.

OK, you didn't say that you these

You've got a lancelot, so you don't need a leo
The lance is a beast; run it with thunder and punisher Ts.
You can level them all somewhat, maybe to around level 9, but more if you like it.
Spawn it in on beacons, and the reds will have a hard time!

Your second bot should the griffin
This has multple uses; it's mobile enough to go for beacons, but tough enough to brawl. Fit it with punishers. I wouldn't level any of it past 7 or 8 tho.

Next would be either the galahad or the gareth.
I've never run a galahad, but I found that the gareth is great for beacons, and can also fight a little bit, as long as your careful.
I once came within a whisker of beating a ravanna, in a 1v1 with mine, and I def would have won if he didn't have the healing advantage

Sorry. I'm not saying that more slots is wrong, but it's just that it's the go to advice that people give, sometimes without considering a player's situation.
Beginners only need another slot, if they have a particular bot that they want to be able to put in it
So, I guess that I'd advise running both galahad and gareth, maybe until you win sth better

Alternatively, if you just want to strengthen your line up straight away, then buying a leo will give you another great tanky bot, that's good to go off the shelf, for 1.7m Ag

I think that you're both right.

The outta the box pinata set up works great, especially for ambush.
However, ultimately the Leo is going to end up brawling, and the sustained damage output of the punisher is waaay better.

Pinatas are terrible, gotta get real close to land hits. Super easy to miss or avoid, especially on mobile devices. DPS is also bad, by the time u get close enough to not miss 90% of your shots, you'd either be dead or low hp. Never worth running them over punishers

300m is not a hard distance to achieve and aim varies from player, it also has solid burst dps for lower leagues. Enough to kill most bots in one engagement. Like I said I think it comes to playstyle, both setups perform just fine

I would agree with you. Punishers are the best T1 weapons and nothing comes close. The damage is quite good and they're great for learning key things such as reload cycles, ammo management, and sustaining weapon acceleration. On top of all of this, they're dirt cheap to max. They have the best price to performance ratio out of everything in the lower leagues and you can even make them work well in high Champion League. I think Avengers are far better than Thunder, but due to Avenger costing 2500 gold Thunder is the more cost effective option. It has great burst damage at close range and can do some decent sustained damage even when on reload. I've actually ran them in the higher leagues and found them to do...all right. As for Leo, it's a great platform for Punisher/Thunder. It has the durability to manage the exposure time and survive the damage it'll take while getting into position. Its low speed means that you need to play carefully though as positioning incorrectly can cost you the match.

It is robot dependent. On something like Griffin or Raven you're going to find that burst damage weapons such as Pinata and Orkan will work better than sustained damage weapons. With those assassin type robots you want to deal high damage very quickly and wait behind cover as your ability regenerates. The super high BDPS of Pinata and Orkan when combined with Raven's 20% damage boost during the jump allows you to obliterate or at the very least cripple enemy robots in a 1 quick action. However, I think that Punisher/Punisher T is still the better weapon overall.
