Anybody know why every single game, i get put against people that are thousands of trophies ahead of me?

well at the moment, i literally cant do anything, because i spawn in, and two seconds later im dead cause i get sniped by an mk3 crisis reaper or something

MM, at least prior to the league point adjustment, used to average the amount of cups each of the 6 players on each side had. So, if your side had an average of 5,100 cups, typically the other side would have an average around that as well. In many cases, you will find 1-2 on each team with significantly higher cups. These players are likely to have better hangars as well. Since the league point adjustment, many players are now advancing faster than they previously would have, so they are running into higher league players more quickly when they are not ready for it.

No. In many cases you’ll be matched with players in your league, and in others you have some in higher leagues. It looks like you’re in diamond league, so in many cases you’ll have all diamond players, maybe some gold maybe some expert. What you may also be running into are 1) players buying top gear and moving up very quickly or 2) players tanking in lower leagues because they’re losers who get embarrassed in higher leagues. I wouldn’t let it discourage me. We all went through it.

You were in diamond so I said diamond and gold and expert. If you are now in expert or masters then adjust the previous leagues to be masters, expert and champion

Masters is where you really learn the game as you will encounter players running high level gear and those who have been around a long time

The last like 500 trophies haven’t had the games being like this, it’s just been in the last few games where it’s gone from fighting people my level, to fighting people way above my level

I was masters for a while before getting into champs. It really helped me learn the flow of battle, what to do, what not to do, etc.

Yes, that goes back to what I was saying earlier with MM. You’ll find most of your matches are with masters players, with the occasional CL players. Then you’ll find yourself with only a handful of masters players among both sides.

To be honest though, the players aren’t even that good, they’re all just pay to win, like after I did and I’m spectating, I see people making mistake after mistake after mistake

The more players that are online, and in your league, the more balanced the matchmaking in general. But MM does throw in lopsided matches when you win rate gets up higher. Yesterday it matched me with I think three experts, two masters, and me, against I think three masters, and three champions. Don’t normally have experts in my matches, but it happens sometimes.

I've been pushed down to a 50% win rate now

Not bad, my lowest record is 30% and now keeps 60%+. You may review your hanger if robots / weapon are good enough. I have mostly mk1lv12 or mk2lv1 which I think level may not be key point (just good level and max is not a must)

but like, before i had like a 75, but then i started coming across these games where i have literally no chance, and now my wirate is at 50%

Do you do mass upgrade recently ? I found very unfavour matchmaking for some days if i upgrade robots / weapon / drone too much. Things will be better if i keep losing for some days or replace one robot with low level. Not idea background logic but seems works

Indeed 75% is very high win rate (you win 3/4 of game) which mean other will win 1/4. Normally only big whale can do it

Well, I recently spent 500 platinum upgrading my titan cause I thought that thye leaderboard said to, then realised that it said upgrade titan pilot (woe to me, aint winning the next titan upgrade leaderboard), but anyways, the next game after I upgraded I was expecting my titan to start destroying since I had given each of its abilities like 5 levels and its weapons 4 levels, but the games started being really hard after that, and i've won like 1-2 games out of the like ten games since then.

Not sure if upgrading Titan / weapon will have impact on matchmaking as my Titan / weapon are maxed already. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Maybe just play mini game these days which will not affect ratio

i would do that, but the problem is, they dont go towards leaderboards and they get basically no rewards

well i just changed my titan cause you mentioned changing robots, i did a game, we got destroyed by 11 kills, but i did manage to get 5 kills, so i changed my titan back, and this game seems to be going pretty well

Keep in mind for the past year or two, there are usually 1-4 players in each match, that lose connection, lag, or are tanking leagues. Sometimes you are also fighting your teammates because they just aren’t on the battlefield with you.
