Dragoon:

  • Damage increased to 10%
  • 4 Plasmoids → 8 Plasmoids
  • 12 seconds reload → 10 seconds reload

Marquess and Hussar:

  • Damage increased to 10%
  • 12 seconds reload → 10 seconds reload
  • Unload from 3.5 seconds to 3 seconds

Reasons:

  • To make these weapons good.
  • To make everybody use these weapons more as it is super rare to see someone running with those weapons for being weak.
  • Rebalance specially the Dragoon because the unload time and magazine is different from his light and medium version. And that is wrong because a weapon that has the medium, light and heavy versions completed, need to have the same mechanics with the damage being the difference.

Actually having the three weapons of a same series being different wasn't uncommon back in the days. edit : unsure source At some point Hussar did fire differently too before they patched it, it used to fire each 0.7s or something like that, and afterwards they changed to fire 0.5s like Marquess. Another two examples are Wasp and Storm, which were both changed during their lifecycle for no apparent reason. Wasp went from 0.85s interval with 5 ammo (and 5s reload 👀) to the 0.5s and 12 ammo we know today, that was then matched with Hornet. Storm used to be a good weapon as it fired every 0.7s with 8 ammo and RwF, meaning it could consistently brawl and dealt very good damage per shot ; now it's completely crippled firing 0.5s with 5 ammo just like a big Gust. Both of those changes happened without any apparent reason, as the weapons were just fine already ?

I rather see that the modern days of the game have made players appreciate uniformity... Man I remember when Redeemer fire only two shots per burst, without being any less efficient. It made it truly distinct from Taran, while still being the same family.
