Guys, I will say it again... The root of the problem is the game not having a balance scale Right now it's like a wild stock market, completely deregulated and based off nothing solid. This is why we have such a powercreep and random buffs/nerfs that make no sense : because the game itself doesn't make its own sense.

The day this game gets an internal balance scale we will stop seeing OP things because everything will be put on that scale. But until then, we can only cope with Pixonic's way of doing business

Crisis and Ocho are two sides of the same coin, just as will all robots ever created by Pixonic... They were OP on release, they get nerfed, the cycle continues... And the game keeps increasing in power as a result. Your point about Crisis one-shotting Ocho will be only a temporary complain, as much worse is to be expected later on. Maybe one-day you'll miss the days you could one-shot an Ocho with a Crisis

I know another mech game where the heavy artillery mech is basically useless beyond 500m because you can wiggle around and mess the lock-on. Against light mechs this range is even reduced at 300m because they are fast as hecc and little hitbox. Only noobs get caught by the cannons, as pro players know the drill and begin zig-zagging in the open

I tell you, low level players leaving really awful ignorant suggestions. Simply because their starter level hangar not good enough they think they game should be rebalanced so their cossack can kill an ochokochi but it's not the case.

Meanwhile the T3 stuff I was using got free buffs Flux, Shocktrain, Arbalest/Ballista... That's free real estate. And if I was continuing to play, my Goon Inquisitor would be more than happy with the 30% buff coming from nowhere

Plus, playing with such old things in the modern era for sure sharpens your skills. Not having a mothership shield every two seconds teaches you to not blunder. Not having devastating firepower teaches you to engage multiple times and play with cover. I feel like many players lack this knowledge from the beginning of the game, plus they skip many of the "intermediary steps" that the Tier 3 represents ; great tools to learn managing your abilities
