Is there an affordable way I can improve my regular robots they die fast

I’m using a Nodens, and a Blitz right now. You can use old stuff. Not every battle is against OP stuff. Granted not much left that can delay the inevitable death against Mk3 Curie, Ocho and Newton, as they keep releasing new things to counter everything before. Ravana and Indra are about the only good chance left of surviving Newton. I still don’t have an Indra.

But Hackers and ridiculous OP stuff scared off a ton of players. Most battles involve a lot of masters and sometimes experts now. It’s not just your own hangar that gets you wrecked, it’s the players on your own team. Most of the battles I’m in, half the players sit at the back of the map, behind home beacon, or not anywhere to defend one. Why are players dropping sniping bots as their first on Moon map in a beacon game?

Why am I trying to cap center beacon with a Nodens? Because no one else is bothering to. Fortunately I had a Mender trying to heal me. I got killed, but lasted a couple minutes trying to cap center beacon on Springfield. One of the few recent games where I got direct support.

Why does your whole team run off together to the same beacons, while you are the only one to defend the rest of the map? No matter what you have, you’re going to die real fast without any help.

Typhon is great against ocho yeah black them out when they're out of ability and you have a dead or nearly dead ocho

All you can do is grind like crazy for silver and gold. Save your resources until the upgrade sales. Also hold back upgrades until Leaderboards has a robot, or as right now a Titan upgrades contest. That way you can win newer better weapons and Doritos,
