The addition of Power level or Combat power system in the league systems aside from honor points to be applied on matchmaking.

The way to measure a player's power level or combat power can be based on the tier and level of the robots/titans, weapon's, modules, drones, and motherships that he/she currently has on chosen hangar.

The higher the tier and its level (in addition to limited edition versions), the higher the power level it will give to a player. Then the total or average combat power of the chosen hangar of the player before the start of every match after seeing the map will be the basis for matchmaking, where the player will be grouped or matched with players with close if not the same combat power as theirs.

In the case of squad or clan plays, they can only invite friends or clan mates close to their combat power to avoid having overpowered or underpowered players in match ups. And in the case of lacking another member in a squad, the system will automatically and randomly select a player with close if not the same combat power level to fill the slot.

All of this is to avoid one sided matches and to properly match players accordingly for a more fair and enjoyable fights.

Yah that's what is was before the current mm took over. Squad if u don't like losing, grind if u don't care

The problem with this is that it's based on the hangar you load with. You have 5 hangars you can choose from once you enter a match. In theory, your system allows someone to dump 5 cossacks in Hangar 1 to get matched with low players, and then switch over to Hangar 2 which has the standard meta

Very easy to exploit a system like that when you have 5 potential hangars to choose from.

-that is to avoid doing the all cossack thing, because the hangar that you chose before the real battle start is the same hangar that you're going to play with since you already locked in during the preselection period of the game

I'm actually content with the matchmaking system, I've had no problems with it. I feel like the only people with complaints are those using subpar hangars that have just never been viable
