We all can agree that we all miss the Boa nd Golem a lot. Adding Boa and Golem for the tasks, so they are obtainable for f2p without heavy grinding and since they are very rare, bringing them for a while (like 1 week after completing tasks)

would be fun, cool and make the collections fuller. And would show newer players how we did it back in the day.

I still don't know why they removed them in the first place... They are great starters, Boa trading a weapon for more HP (it's the most robust of the starter Medium robots), and Golem trading every stat for more weapons. Those two bridge the gap between the Patton and Vityaz, they give more playstyles... Now the game incites players to directly switch to Heavy robots like Leo and Natasha, then grind the events for meta stuff

I think they need to add different game modes into war robots

Idk if any of y’all are familiar with the game Magic the Gathering but they’ve gotten around the power creep by adding different formats with different power levels. For example in the format standard you can only use cards from the last 2-3 years. But they also have powerful formats for people who like older cards so “vintage” you can use any cards from the last 30 years

I think in war robots they need to add some kind of “vintage” format but only can use robots from 2018 and before and “standard” you can only use robots from 2020 onwards

And maybe on in the middle for 2018-2020 bots

Ao Jun, Ares, Hawk, Phantom, leech, etc.

3 years looks like a lot seeing how rapidly WR stacks up the updates, and the rolling cycle goes much faster than MTG
Even with staying with 1 year, this is approx 8 WR updates : enough to completely change the face of the meta. This is probably better to aim a rolling cycle of 12 months rather than 3 years in that case

The problem, however, is the exact same as MTG : it forces you to buy the newest things if you want to continue playing in this mode

If it can help matchmaking in lower leagues, why not

Maybe you answered your own question there: they were removed because they are great starters. Seeing the stats in the wiki, it does seem like a Golem or Boa are/were more cost-effective than Patton and Vityaz except for the 4 Aphid build, but nowadays we have the medium & heavy version too so it's no longer valid.
