@ancient robin Freeze Rockets are slightly better than Sonics. Because they have better range, they unload faster and reload while your in ball mode. Plus they bypass shields and if you have allies the Freeze effect increases damage for them.

rockets are kinda hard to use with everything running around so fast nowadays

@tribal dagger Lol Rockets do more damage than you think in 3 seconds that you are out of ball mode unlike Sonics they are reloaded for next time. I have two Skyros one with Sonics one with Freeze Rockets. I kill more with Rockets.

I would use sonics because they deal grey damage, deal consistent damage rather than just a burst

Because if u get emped ur not going to be able to fight with freeze rockets

@tribal dagger We probably use them differently. I don't try to brawl with a Skyros. It sounds like you may. Burst damage is everything. My sonic Skyros I have to stay exposed too long trying to unload entire clip since it won't reload of you don't. Which means I get a lot more opportunities to kill with Rockets since I live longer. But that just me, (and a lot of other skyros pilots that are doing the same.)

Imo the benefit from freeze is negligible, at least compared to grey damage from sonics

@willow loom like I said the advantage imo is only slightly better and only because it unloads and loads faster (so I van stay in safe mode longer) but freeze does bypass shields .

@tribal dagger Nah I can stay outside of Emp zones with Rockets. But you do what you do and I'll do what I do. Have fun.
