There’s no such thing as best ever it keeps on ever changing. I’d suggest you build something sustainable that with the changing metas dosent get much affected such as fenrir/ravana/scorpion/typhon
My top picks would be fenrir and ravana with rust rockets/bsgs/sonics
Bht if you really want to know whats the best it probable would be lynx/imugi/nether/angler with lasers sonics harpoon and radiation weapons

Yeah that's a good strategy and the 2nd half of the point i was trying to say.
Personally I have a 5 year old Ares (before Ravanas, about the Ao Jun meta), and that's gone through hell with all the shieldbreaker and rusher metas. It's really fun to use and be forced to outplay your enemies, especially when so many things counter you so well.
