Why does it have 2 protection and 1 support? If anything it seems more like an offensive mothership rather than defensive

This is roulette but with more debuffs added xd

Because in this case you want to use it tactically and wait for enemies to group up, instead of the classic "point and shoot" play of offense ships or immediately pressing the button to give yourself a shield/heal at any time of defense ships. This one you have to be patient and wait for the perfect time to deploy as a tactical support, then counterattack while the targets are weakened. There's no point in using it randomly only for the enemies to recover, as people tend to spam it immediately after full charge even at targets fully protected by cover. You can say it's an offense/support due to it dealing damage, but this can be said the same for Frozen Scorn & Roulette, both applying effects and dealing damage while largely having defense/support turrets. This is the reason it's a support ship, which has a role in the other 2 classes

I say that it is offensive because it increases damage, lowers defence and slows them down, not because it deals damage. But if you were going to use it on grouped up enemies seconds before going on the offensive, it would make more sense that it has pure damage since it would maximize the efficiency of damage turrets. This way it would kill off enemies at lower health within that area while being able to focus your damage on those who are more vulnerable with freeze effect and rust. This would arguably be much better as it would break up forces making it easier for team pushes as outnumbering heavily weakened and damaged opponents would be a huge advantage

What you completely forget about is how you can use this one purely defensively in the case you are getting chased or the enemy is making a massive push more than your team can handle. You also forgot that the rust effect is not as strong as Roulette's or a barrage of rust rockets, and the freeze is the default 5 seconds which is half of the entire duration of the effects. It's main purpose is to slow down or mess up enemy momentum, not heavy damage like Monarch & Orion.

First of all, no attack turrets because Grav Amp would be ridiculously strong on it, notice how Frozen Scorn has slowdown but no attack turrets? There's the answer for that. Second, when it says "pairs in tandem with Tyrant's ability", you also see it doesn't do much damage either. Why does it not deal 250k pure damage? Balance. The ship itself deals decent but fully recoverable damage over a long period, where strong sustained healing can counteract its effects. I'm not going to make this ship a "press, spam & win" type.

Roulette does not have an attack turret either, instead it has 2 support & defense turrets to heal and protect its user (or allies around it). Because of the potential damage and powerful rust, it leans heavily to offense/support. The same can be said for Frozen Scorn, however it simply leans less towards offense/support compared to Roulette. Now let's not forget Northlight with one attack turret, it heals allies yet it has one attack turret to deal some damage and or annoy targets with Grav Amp, by this logic it would lean very heavily towards defense/support while retaining a small offense ability.

I have already stated that it plays both roles to some extent, leaning more towards offense/support in that case it would be a support in any way, despite leaning to one aspect a little more than the other. And no, I will not change a large portion of the concept just because one person wants it to be a purely attack ship. I have given multiple reasons why, if you care to read them.
