I have gotten massive killstreaks with siren just by using cover effectively along with the 100m dash and shieldbreaker

Well that's how most people use it, camp
Also it's squishy on ground with low hp and no DP

If you use yang lee and you forgot to teleport back you're basically dead

If you make good use of cover on the ground, you can still fire. Phase shift can help if you need to avoid Typhon/Erebus hits or move to cover. With yang lee you don't forget to teleport back because you have to. If you play it for ten hours you are going to get the muscle memory down for teleporting back.
