Sonics or weapon that is similar to it but I forgot the name, nuc amplifier, the pilot for it to give you an extra charge

#

Arnav Poe

#

Fafnir is alr but it’s built in weapon for titans is weak asf

brave hemlock

Bsgs are best for engaging pretty much anything

sonics are better as you can build them

Mace are easier to aim, bypass and charge faster from physical shields, and have faster reload (better for killing titans)

i dont have mace but i have a hammer so should i use it?

Nah Mace isn’t as good as Sonics beacause of the gray damage. Plus, Sonics do more damage

brave hemlock
#

Grey damage isn't as important when your enemies can barely heal anyway

The only good bots sonics are worth using against are revenant and khepri.

If u have bad aim, go Maces, because more shots hit. If you can be precise, go with Havocs for more damage, a continuous reload, and gray damage. (Imo)

Aim, lag, small screen, you’re playing with your toes… it doesn’t matter what the reason is. If you’re missing shots go with mace. If you can hit shots, go with Sonics. That’s just my opinion

Maces have higher cycle DPS, which matters more in team games. Sonics are better for 1v1s with less enemies around.

#

Cycle DPS matters a lot more in higher leagues where players are more aggressive

Ravana isn’t a crazy tank anyway (high hp, but not a tank) and since you can’t shoot while transcending, bring up against more than 2 players at a time isn’t practical anyway. It’s not a Fenrir or a falcon that can be shot at 4 times while shooting back by the entire other team. You need to time the abilities, and the best way to win fights on a bot like the Ravana is by isolating the 1v1s

# brave hemlock I am not talking about 2v1s, I am talking about fighting one enemy after another...

You have a point for sure, but if you fight off one player after another and you don’t even have time to reload the Sonics, even with the third charge, Ravana’s ability is going to be depleted fast ESPECIALLY since you generally always need to transcend during the fixed reload on a Mace. With Havocs, the clip lasts longer so there’s a higher chance of taking an enemy out before even having to reload, but with BSGS that doesn’t really happen. Ravana without its ability (especially in these days of wr) is completely toast. You can’t dodge EMPs from Erebus’s, you can’t dodge motherships, Harpy flights, etc. so if you don’t even have time between fights to reload the Sonics, and you’re playing a Ravana with BSGs, you’re dead anyway

#

My god I wrote an entire book there lmao

reload on bsg would be destroying you

#

with over 600k one clip with 3 havocs even half a clip is enough

brave hemlock
# obsidian zodiac You have a point for sure, but if you fight off one player after another and you...

Mace only takes 2 clips to match up with the clip of a single havoc. Considering the fact that the robot would already have a clip preloaded, the mace could unload 2 clips, only using only 1 charge to reload, and still have the same damage output as the havocs with only 5 more seconds used. Because they unload in half the time, the burst DPS is pretty much the same as havoc. It's not always necessary to use ability charges anyway, because the enemy is trying to notice whether you are in your ability so that they don't waste ammo. The unload on bsg makes enemies think they can attack you only to realize that you have already unloaded your clip and are in transcendence.

But other stats are not

It’s just a better weapon for the Ravana

#

Not saying overall the Sonics are better (although I think they are) some bots thrive with the BSGs, such as the Fenrir. Others tend to be better with Sonics, such as Ravana or Scorpion.

brave hemlock
# obsidian zodiac BUT you can’t kill a bot with one clip of the Mace and you can with the Havocs

It's not just the clip, it's the reload. 300k damage is enough to kill most bots, and the extra damage from havoc comes with a tradeoff: the reload. If you have enough time to reload in your situation, then sonics are undoubtedly better than mace for that situation. If 3 seconds makes a difference, then maces are better. It all depends on the situation. I never said maces are best for every gamemode, maces are better for when your enemies are more aggressive and decide to attack you (you don't get to choose when you engage), not vice versa. When you have time, havocs are better. When you don't, maces are better.
