It is but then how will the match making work? Just the same as every other gamemode? Imagine a scenario where you just joined the game and you see this gamemode and you're intrigued by it

You join and all of a sudden you just get demolished by mk3 robots and what not

The Matchmaking wouldn't be based on league. A quick check of the hangar would be done by the game, and match people that are equipped at similar levels

there was a competative mode called "Arena" where you had to pay gold to enter and everyone got the same hangars. Top 3 players got the reward

That was probably the most skillful mode ever in this game

Everything was fair and no p2w

Still i cant get how can some players are so bad with Mk3 weapons and robots beaten by my Mk1 level 7 robots and weapons

Yep i enjoyed it. You actually had to know how a certain robot mechanic works so you use its ability at the right time on the enemy
