🤣
Just killed a mk2 ravana 2 days ago with my angler
More ability charges but lower duration. A battle of wits than equipment.
Especially with their pilots in the mix
My bolt be survivin', don't know why, don't know how
wait does ravana's ability duration lower with the pilot?
it gives you a extra charge
So three charges total
But the duration for each is the same.
Angler has one charge, but an incredibly quick cooldown period, One that I believe should be nerfed.
Additionally, with its pilot, Angler’s ability lasts longer than the ravana’s
the blind should be reduced to actually give those of us without anti jamming a chance
The effect itself or it’s build up?
hydra cossack op
The ravana is still a top 10 robot i have killed 2 anglirs at the bame time and i sold it so im truing to get it back
i miss my old acc that had it :(
Ravana is great conceptually but in practice….. it just dies once it’s ability is done
You don’t have to stay in the middle of a fight once your abilities run out. Disengage and get behind cover until one regenerates
Or make it so anti controls work against it
So how do you do that when there’s a harpy with bendy bullets?
Nowhere is safe
There are a lot of places you can hide from them if your smart
Respect their distance and rush them once they land.
And there reload is really bad so they can't fire for to long
Smuta/kramola reload is decent
Not the greatest, but enough to be lethal for unhealthy bots
13 seconds is pretty long for a 500m range gun
And if you get into 150 they can't bend them around
If they want a full mag on flight they can't fire much on the ground, it's why the siren I'm building will have rad guns instead
Puncher on Siren any good?
You just need to use one phase shift at the end and hope your 400k hp is enough to kill it
Your thinking is not very practical
Practical:
guided by practical experience and observation rather than theory
concerned with actual use or practice; "
he is a very practical person"; "the idea had no practical application"; "a practical knowledge of Japanese"; "woodworking is a practical art”
Applicative
capable of being applied; having relevance
Sounds very practical to me
i won a ravana when it was first released. leveled it up level 9 (pretty high) no leg pilot but i had maxed tarans which were good at the time. every enemy robot just shoots, waits for my ability to finish, come to where my cover was and kill me. it was the worst robot i had, its speed wasn't good enough to be a runner (and its ability is counterproductive to capping beacons) and the health at level 9 is 198k irrc and the damage is decent but there were things way better like the leech which i could never kill thanks to its plethora of characteristics, LS, Pilot skills etc. nowadays its even worse and the indra perfectly trumps the ravana, so if anything, we should be praising the indra which i do agree is an excellent choice albeit expensive and hard to get
When it was first released, it could cap beacons in its ability. Having the legendary pilot is a must since it doesn’t take down the ability time like orochi. Ravana is also a very timing based robot. You have to use your ability at the right time and your weapons have to shoot and reload in synchronization with that timing. Usually shotguns are the preferred weapon on ravana. Storm was what I used when it came out, then I went to havoc and now I use mace
It can work with other weapons, but it’s a different playstyle.
It is but some people are just...
Sounds like you need a lot more practice with bots
Nothing like trial and error
But it’s sucks when you die instantaneously
Discouraging
Yea trial and error is 1 of the best ways to learn
Maybe your right. Because the ravana is very “unique bot” cause I can pick up an aujun which I only had the opportunity in skirmishes and demonate but with a ravana ….
yep
