Spider Titan concept (found the post on reddit). What do you guys think?

That's really cool, looks like a titan from Horizon zero Dawn.

Does have a few technical problems tho as it can't fit in/around some places, could be a cool ability to have it be able to climb terrain to get around that.

And what abilities and weapons will it have? Kind of hard to fit 3 weapons on it and 2 beta/alpha would be different from everything else and it's abilities need to be impactfull, maybe 2 modes where it moves its front legs up as shields and has a aoe heal or aigis shield but loses out on being able to climb over stuff

I believe Pixonic said a long time ago they wouldn’t make a spider titan, but things might change. I’m pretty sure the dev team has ptsd from jaeger and all the bugs it had with movement alone lol

Well, we don't have a size scale yet, so it could be a smaller titan, or it could be able to change into this mode for mobility on flat surfaces, and elevate itself to move in tight spaces as one of it's abilities

What if it automatically shifted up it's legs?

Or the legs would reach up to the top of the walls of the alley and bend down so the titan's head stays on the same level 🤔

TO unlock it, you could have to fight a giant version of it and it is on top of a maze and you have to navigate the maze while finding traps to damage it, but you get to unlock it after that.

But what if they did do it? It could really help the playerbase to do a event like this, to unlock titans by beating much stronger versions of them in special arenas as teams.

That would also encourage them to add some sort of chat system, so people can more easily work together. It is extremely hard to get people to follow you in game without a chat to tell them to.

In fact, doing that would probably set them off adding in a bunch of things the community wants. I play this game thats kinda like war robots, called Robocraft. The developers have updates of community requests

Saw one person suggest that a good way to excuse a titan with 3 abilities would be to make it tier 5

Feature creep is extremely bad for any game and War Robots already suffers from it in the extreme

Dude, there is no titan that doesn't have at least three guns. The lowest firepower goes to Kid, with only two beta active all the time, but it can activate a alpha for 15 seconds

Doesn't mean it can't happen and the abilities of the spider are very good so low firepower would balance it out. 3 beta would be a other good option if the abilities were worse.

I can understand much better abilities being balanced by 3 betas, but not worse abilities then being restricted to 3 beta. Look what happened to Kid! almost half of its firepower is bound to a timer based ability!
