A great build effortlessly sets a mood, story, and theme. This entry was able to show all three within a small space. The use of display shelves to create glowing eyes in the dark is very resourceful and the use of paint to mute an otherwise colorful setting allows for a sense of fear and impending doom.

gtGoldStar Second Place: ziiel.gt
A build with a lot of colors is tricky to manage and a fine balance exists between too cluttered and not enough details. This entry shows a balance between both with each block adding to the scene but not to the point of feeling messy. The bed design is also very smart!

gtGoldStar Third Place: few.ez
Paint is tricky to manage especially when wallpaper blocks are used as the paint will also color the wallpaper alongside the solid block. This build shows a great understanding of paint usage by using the Background Weather Machine to negate the effects of painted wallpaper. The bridge structure is also clean and pleasant to look at!

Painted display shelves are always a builder’s secret weapon and the ability to create four smaller tiles will always create beautiful combinations. Small details will always be what sets apart an excellent build from a normal one and this entry skillfully shows this principle.
