I recommend going for consumable-type mass, or those of which the supply runs out after consumption, so the consumer will have to return for more of your products and that it also ensures that your supply isn't really " useless ".

You might want to try either Fossil Brushes or Surg-Es.

I recommend you to allocate 350 to 400 to Steel Blocks and some towards Yellow Blocks (purchase Yellow Blocks when you are finally done farming Steel Blocks, and wish to proceed on with the mass).

Get ~ 75 to 100 worth of Wall Like An Egyptian and 25 to 50 worth of Rice. You can then leave the rest for other seeds such as Yellow Blocks (if you are farming Steel Blocks) and Evil Bricks.

The rest of your can be used on getting someone to harvest your trees with fuels, harvesters and dcs!

This is just a recommendation though, you can choose to go over the range I've recommended up there

Certainly. You can choose to farm, make and sell dirt farms, bfg, up to you. The geiger counter will charge regardless, just make sure that you are not on the world selection screen.

Sugar Canes are definitely worth farming. They break in 2 hits, and takes about 4 hours to grow. Their demand also shoots up every Chef role day, as they can be ground into Sugar using a Food Grinder into an ingredient which increases the food's quality percentage
