Essentially exhausting 1400 gems to break 200 chandeliers ( on avg you'd get back 50 seeds & 16 blocks ).

Chand blocks are 15/1 and seeds are 3/1.
200 chand blocks ~15 wls & you'd get back 50 seeds + 16 blocks which is ~16 wls + 1 wl, at the cost of 35 mins

In conclusion, 1400 Gems and at the cost of 35 minutes to get 2 wls in chands in return at assumed prices, giving you a gem to wl ratio of 700/wl.

What are Silkworms? Why Silkworms?

Silkworms are a special provider in Growtopia that has a limited lifespan. They act similar to normal providers, aside from the need to feed them and harvest them. Silkworms drops Silk Threads which are used to make Silk Bolts and much more amazing things.

Silkworms are a form of lazy profit method and would be great for players who do not have much playing time, but has the leeway to log in at a fixed time everyday. At the end of the entire 20 Day process, a huge clean profit can be attained, with proper usage of the Silk Bolts. Catch-of-the-Day (COTD) Bait is one of the most common profit options with Silkworms.

Silkworm - Harvesting and Feeding

Silkworms have a lifespan of 20 days. In said period, the Silkworms in the first 2 days would not be harvestable.

During the first day, you should:

• Feed 3x of the coloured consumable
• Feed 3x of Water Bucket
  In order to reach the colour threshold* to reward another colour (preferably what you want), feeding 3x of coloured consumables on the first day, and 1x respectively on the days after is the best way ahead.
  -# - It is good to note that Silkworms have randomized colours when placed.
  -# - When Silkworms do not convert to a specific colour entirely, it may drop Silk Thread - Gray instead. Or, if it converts to another colour, it would drop that Silk Thread colour instead.
  -# - You can feed up to a maximum of 3x consumable and 3x Water Bucket before it is completely "stuffed full".
  -# - If the Silkworm is sick, use an Antidote.
  -# - For the note, Gruel (food) and Water Buckets (water) do not change the colour of Silkworms.
  -# - When feeding the Silkworms, avoid standing on top of it! You'd consume the consumable instead.

After the first 2 days, the Silkworm would be harvestable. On average, you can expect5.5 threads / harvest, or 5.0 - 5.2 threads / harvest without accounting for Grays.
-# - Try your best not to drop any harvests, as it impacts profits.
-# - Silkworms can live for 2 days without food and water.
That said, you can expect ~187 Silk Bolts of a specific colour on average, from 200 Silkworms.

Food Guide

To determine what you should feed, you should have an idea of what colour of threads you'd like to produce. For instance, if you're going for COTDs, look for Purple, Green and Yellow.

No. Ancestral Orb of Time ( and other items that reduces provider time ) would not impact Silkworms.

Do I need to unlock all the sewing stitches?
Unnecessary, but good to have. You can also rely on another player who has unlocked all the stitches, but for safety sakes, unlock the stitches for yourself.
-# It'd take about 60 items to be sown to unlock all the stitches. You should look into Big Bunny Feet (after ZigZag ) and White Suit Jacket (can be sown with base stitches)

You would need 1.900 XPs to reach level 7. Try to do the old fashioned farmer way, mass yourself a Stone Wall (rarity 5).

• Stone Wall = Grey Block + Rock
  • Grey Block = Brick + Rock
    • Brick = Grass + Rock
      • Grass = Dirt + Rock

After reaching level 7, you'll need a total of 15,100 XP to reach level 11. The best approach is to buy Sugar Cane (rarity 24) and farm it until you hit level 11. In total, you’ll need to break and harvest at least 3,020 Sugar Canes. Alternatively, you can use a Sugar Cane BFG... there's plenty available at KERJAGT (go down).

If you have a lot of WLs, another option is to buy Pepper Tree seeds, plant them, wait for them to grow, then harvest and sell all the blocks. You could also ask your friends to let you harvest their ready-to-harvest trees (the higher the rarity, the better).

You can also try to learn some cooking for XP. With a Gourmet Dragon Claw (3-5 wls), you can cook Berry Crêpes and gain at least 260 XP for every minute of cooking at 60% Food Quality. This can be sped up by using High Temp (reducing the cooking time by ÷ 3). However, this method generally gives a lower return compared to farming.

Error connecting in Growtopia is a request block yeah, for everyone. At the network address level. Restarting the app or downloading it again won't work if you're ultimately still playing from the same network address.

You need to play from another network address to fix it, or wait it out ( it used to expire ). If it doesnt expire after days, contacting support would be the wisest way forward

The second paragraph usually holds secondary issues which drops the 3 statuses you see in a voyage, it's not mandatory to solve but if you're doing a long quest or if your status is dropping way too low, do fix it. Yes, on top of the answer you had, you should note that TM procs once every 1.5s at the cost of 1 Gem, and it adapts the same toughness as breaking without a Pickaxe.

Without Gems in the machine, and without a target block to break, the TM will not break blocks.
