With a quick estimate, OP's 115 DLs budget that they mention could easily rake them AT LEAST 50dls in profits from COTDs alone if they're all poured into SIlkworms. You have obviously not done Silkworms before to be claiming that they are terrible. Silkworms can live for 2 days without being fed lol. And a missed harvest with such a massive quantity wouldn't even set back profits much.

Your points are very much flawed. You mentioned that:

• Awkward Friendly Unicorns are good: This depends on the quantity. With OP's starting budget of 115 DLs, they would never get any where with 3x25 harvests compared to Silkworms

This comment has to be satire lol. COTDs are extremely demanded, especially on days with super good catch. And that's just one of the many items that could be sewed and sold.
Silkworms are not the only provider that expires after a while. BBMs, very similar to Silkworms, expire in 10 days (where you can get up to 11 harvests iirc) can rake good profits. I'm sure you've seen BBM stores around; a Black Leather Couch / Manor House Sandstone drop could cover more than a single BBM cost.

It’s probably because of the Saffron Crocus Flower (Farmer Role Level 10), which only drops when harvesting trees with a rarity of 81-100.
Since Chandeliers have a rarity of 87, they’re the perfect choice for both harvesting and farming.

To boost the benefit even more, during the Harvest Festival event, you can get double the fruit while using a Hand Scythe. Therefore, it gives you more seeds after breaking all of the extra fruits.
As a bonus, you also have a chance to get a Yin Yang Pendant from the Hand Scythe, and a Balance Mooncake from harvesting trees.

Invest in Role Quests. Reaching certain levels would really benefits you in your chosen role.

The mass path should follow something around these lines:

  • Puzzle Brick = Outie Block, Evil Bricks (farmable)
  • Outie Block = Bubble Wrap, Pastel Aqua Block (farmable)
  • Hospital Bed = Screen Door, Bed

If you don't have DCS and Harvesters + Fuel Packs you'll lose out a lot. With your current budget, could start with the quoted pathway above; using Fuels + Harvesters + DCS on Hospital Beds, Outie Blocks, Puzzle Bricks and Surg-E steps. You can aim for ~450 ending trees, and for starter seeds ~700 for Bubble Wrap & Pastel Aquas, ~600 for Hospital Beds and Puzzle Bricks.

If you do not own DCS and Harvesters, instead opt for Amphora, Rubber Ducky and Military Radio masses. These are way better and friendlier for your budget, and isn't as badly affected by seed loss compared to Surg-E. Feel free to reply back for the steps, if you need them.

If you follow the plan you'd get yourself around 4000 Military Radio Trees which then cycles to 3.3k Military Radio Seeds (200/45 would get you 742WLS)

For COTDs you generally want purple green and yellow though. To make them you need to sew. You can sell the COTDs during days with rare catches or events with COTD catches.

I know flashback flan can't be used on crystal, but what about harmonic crystal and what happens if i break it by hand? Is there a way to reverse that combination that i created or swap out the already placed one with something else?
