If you've a lot of budget, I'd suggest Bountiful Growtopian-Eating Looming Plant. Highest Gem payout ( due to it having the highest rarity ).
Total Gems around 370k for a full farm at mature roots.

If you're okay with grinding, then root farming is okay. Yeah it takes a lot of time and effort, I'd say much worse than normal farming and can get very boring easily

Root farming isn't all that complicated. Think about it like normal farming, but instead of wooden platforms, you plant seeds on Fertile Soil Blocks. A root forms when you plant your bountiful seed on it.

When you grow the root enough ( 3 plantation cycles ), the root becomes mature and you can punch it for Gems and a lot of XP.

The leveling process can be seen visually in the world SOILFARM. Basically you have to cycle a few times to see rewards.

By the way, you may be thinking "what's the catch?". Breaking the bountiful series blocks would not normally drop Gems, so that's really the catch

It can drop Gems with buffs however, such as Ancestral Lens of Riches. Though these are still chance based

If the roots are already planted with another bountiful seed, they would be stuck with that root & the roots won't level up or change to another root until it has reached mature roots and are harvested to be a normal Fertile Soil Block (or, of course, you can break it).

If the roots are at mature roots level, you cannot continue to level it up, and if you attempt to, you'll waste the cycle because mature roots are at the highest level possible.

The farm can be used 'unlimitedly', yes, as the Fertile Soil Blocks would always reset after a cycle, but with restrictions, especially the first point; if you're a person that plants garbage everywhere, try not to do so and accidentally make a root on a Fertile Soil Block, or you'll grow a root that is useless.

Well, they could have if you buy a ready WT/NT soil farm. The price of that depends on the bountiful seed used, though most commonly fences. Cannot confirm price now, though should be 400+ up WLs.

I assume each surgery to have the same cost as the cost of 3 stitches here; it's about the average cost of a surgery. You can adjust the costs accordingly.

Current price of stitches: 200/125WLs; each surgery would cost 1.875WLs

Angel of Mercy's Wings would require 2000 Surgeries + a Vicious Malady + a full Doctor's Blingin' set

Could you provide a source? There has never been a nerf patch for bountifuls. In fact, after release, it took 5 cycles to complete and reach mature roots. A following update was done some time later which buffed it, and reduced number of cycles to reach mature roots to 4 cycles. This means max level from nothing.

Also I'm not sure if you're referring to the correct lattice fence here. There's flowering lattice, hydrangea lattice and normal lattice fence- of which, Bountiful Lattice Fence has highest rarity and gives ~250k gems on mature roots from a full farm. Assume 2645 ready mature roots to harvest.

I do agree that it's a lot more work than traditional farming. Comparing this with ATMs however? Not a fair comparison as ATMs costs are high and are considered lazy profit

It's not that bad when the world becomes inactive. Funnily, @pastel tide 's wheat was broken by the TM when the world got inactive.

Its not usually possible for TM to break a wheat as it has a tick rate punch of 1.5s while Wheat has a regeneration every 1s. So there's probably something happening when the world gets inactive and it's likely much stabler than the lag we currently imagine.

Hey, do you have an accurate amount of the blocks broken? If you don't it's fine.

I would say this is still within acceptable range. Blocks broken usually drop seeds at an estimated ratio of 4 blocks : 1 seed. So if half a world meant 2700ish blocks, 2700/4 = 675 seeds. It's still okay.

The seed gain and seed loss in every project, be it in massing or farming, does not occur at breaking level. Breaking blocks or wallpapers, if they drop seeds, will always be around the estimated ratio of 4 blocks to 1 seed.

You can easily understand this as one FUEL PACK proc = 1 SEED, because the fruit dropped is doubled and thus treated the same as a tree harvested. You're just missing the gems of the extra tree. So if the tree's seed is 7/WL, fuel packs 16/WL, you are essentially buying the tree's seed at 16/WL with fuel packs using procs alone.

For Bountiful Growtopian-Eating Looming Plant, it is worth to use Fuel Packs with Harvesters. Seeds are 5/WL right now and Fuel Packs are 18/WL.

The Fuel Pack proc drops the same amount of fruits as a regular tree as it's considered doubled drops. So, you are in a way, buying Bountiful Growtopian-Eating Looming Plant seeds at 18/WL, Fuel Pack's rate, instead of 5/WL. Just that they are in the form of Harvester procs.

Once you understand the doubling of fruits is actually the same as a separate tree, you'll see the overall benefit and value. A lot of people overlook this.

Simply put, all Seasonal Tokens earned would last throughout their Season. It would not carry over to the next Season, but will carry over to the next clash if it's the same Season.

Well, I know for myself the chances of getting extra blocks, and which riding types the fuel pack works with especially for those, who want to earn a big profit by harvesting high-rarity trees. I know very well that the fuel pack works up to rarity 100. It doesn’t work on trees with higher rarity. For example, the Clouds Background—people have noticed this, but they don’t remember exactly what they had harvested.

Some blocks, like Laser Grid, are not really worth using the fuel pack on. I can easily recommend, how much fuel beginners should use in their mass projects. Personally, I use the fuel pack for unfarmable projects because I’m not a pro farmer, and I don’t have any tools that drop extra blocks during farming.

You’re right about the price it always changes before, and after events like Harvest Fest or Halloween. But it’s not worth dropping fuel packs into the Growganoth during Halloween. It’s better to keep them for mass projects or to use them, if you want to earn extra farmable blocks during Harvest.

They'll give you profit if you harvest them. If you don't harvest = no profit. A full water science stat farm can give ~10 wls per harvest, and harvestable twice daily.

You can of course hold them and sell the farm entirely for profit too, but on the topic of utilizing the farm itself, the profit comes from harvesting so without harvesting you won't gain anything.

It depends on how active you are. If you don't play much, ATM is the way to go. I don't play much, but I've had tackles for around 3 years now and the profit has been kicking in really good with the rise of baits and everything. It's just that punching and harvesting when server lags is a bit of a headache. Baits always sell out and full farms can give you around 250 (on average) clean per 2 days harvest.

This would get you upwards of 53k Gems every harvest, of which it has a regeneration period of 22 hrs

This is also assuming a full auto water setup. You can also opt for half a world which uses a farm setup, half the profits for your calculation

Technically , you can use 3 packs per second. 2 packs per second is with slight lag. This is the same as punching, actually.

@elder lynx , I have opened SSP packs before... it takes 3 packs per second but you do have to account for dropping seeds/restocking vends.

It would be good to assume (100,000/3)/3600 as total time in hours. However, it'd likely take longer due to factors like restocking. Like every 4000 packs I get full on common seeds, and restocking my vends took like 10 minutes.

Yup it may be quite unrealistic, but it is the closest by theory to the actual rate of punch ( which, coincidentally, is also the rate of consumption of consumables ).

The answer was mainly theoretical, so it's great to adapt to practical settings and do a division of 2 instead in the mathematical equation :)

Back when I opened packs it was mostly around 2-3 packs opened per second. No lag and delay in consideration, it would be faster but more theoretical. Lag and delay in consideration, results are realistic and practical ( I favor practical results for this )
