Normally, farming includes the process of planting, harvesting and breaking, then repeating. If you are low on budget, planting to wait for days (assumption made that its Laser Grid) is not viable, and thus selling of seeds to rebuy blocks is a much more valid option.

Read below for the farmability process.

The farmability of a component is mainly dependent on the harvesting phase. A farmable component will drop more than 4 fruits max, compared to an unfarmable component where fruits are capped at 4 max per tree without any fruit drop boosters.

As for the breaking phase, the estimated ratio of seeds dropped from breaking blocks is 1:4 and is fixed for all blocks and consumables which has a chance of dropping seeds
No matter block or consumables, it will return seeds (if it does drop any) from using the said item at an estimated ratio of 1 : 4

Unless you're massing stuff that paths onwards from Golden Blocks, generally not wise to farm them (people do recommend them, but note that with pickaxe it takes 5 seconds to break one, not wise); you could opt for massing them instead.

Lazy splicing* or massing Steel Block / Golden Block is a viable move as clash preparation, usually can sell at good prices, for the purpose of crafting elegants.

If the seed takes 3 days to grow, why would you plant the 25-30 seeds and wait for 3 days, when you can sell them to buy another 100 blocks, break and get more gems?

That is for the lazy massing part, it would not always guarantee profit, and like all lazy masses, it requires calculations so that you can make an informed decision on whether to proceed or not. The " does not always work " part only applies to the lazy massing here.

"clash prep" was referring to preparations for a Seasonal Clash event.

Usually, preparations are done beforehand to make / get cheaper items, either for use in event or for reselling purposes.

An example is the recent Surgery Stars clash, which just ended yesterday. People would prepare OTLs , Steel Blocks for Elegants; item wise, they would prepare Legal Briefs, Skill Spice, Encapsulated Galaxies.

The reason behind the preparation of OTL and Steel Blocks is that its required to craft the elegant tool.

Mainly from breaking blocks. Just get yourself cured at SURG or BUYAUTOSURG; you may be able to sell it at BUYAUTOSURG too.

Can use a malady vial to prevent getting the TPM malady too, for 12 hours ( length of each malady vial ).

By malady vial, I meant something like Vile Vial - Brainworms.

What is a Geiger?
Geiger is an device which you can buy for 25k gems or buy from people for 16-18 wls. The dead ones are 16 wls during normal times and 17 wls during carnival. The alive (Green) are 17 during normal and 18 during carnival. There's also Geiger Day in which your Geiger charges faster and radiation goes from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.

What is carnival??
I'm sure you know but ping me if you need some explanation.

How to use a geiger?
When using the Geiger make sure you have the GREEN one. This means it is charged and ready to go! You can go to a Geiger world such as GEIGER. If there are no rings that means the loot is very far away. When you reach a part that is red is it 15-30 blocks away. As you get closer it turns to yellow, 10-15 blocks away. And lastly green which is 6-10 blocks away. SUPER FAST Green is 0-6 away.

Why is it profitable?
You can get crystals which are worth at least 1 wl each. During carnival they rise as people need them for Shatter Crystals quest. You can also always sell the Geiger whenever you want. These crystals can be put together when you have 5 and you can make items. (this section isn't depth)

Pretty sure you do get XP when you obtain a drop only.

You can definitely farm a lot of sugarcane and use Blender to convert into Sugar (cube looking ones in real life) and sell them to cook shops!

They don’t give the best gems so I’d recommend starting to farm Peppers/Laser Grids/High Tech Blocks/Chandeliers/Sorcerer Stone/Magic Bells! All listed in the order of shortest to longest growth time

Peppers can definitely get you started as you can grind into Pepper and sell to cook shops. It’s used as a seasoning to enhance the food quality.

Have you started on working on the Role quests? If you're not sure what those are, they're basically in your Goals & Quests when you wrench yourself. There is a different role quest for each specific day and since you like farming, I'd suggest you to start trying to level up the Farmer Role. There are a variety of drops you may get from it such as: Beat-root Block (level 3), Fallen Pillar (level 4), Carrot Block (level 5), Bloccoli Mini-Tree (level 7), Strawberry Block (level 8), Saffron Crocus Flowers (level 10). They also require a specific level for your farmable rarity but they do help boost your profits by a lot! You get to have one free quest/day and it is pretty easy to level up slowly.

I would also suggest the Geiger as I mentioned above to someone else as well! It really helps give you a jump-start when compared to other players that are also starting out. Really try to use your WLs to profit and buy farmables. Yes, the accessories are so cool but they can come later. I always try to minimize what my set is and I (personally) care way more about the other things! You may also try to start selling shatter quests during carnival, which with your budget you can make a bit too!

I started out with selling Shatter Quests by just buying some blue/green/red crystals and making them into Stained Glass which is in moderate demand and slowly worked up!

Unless you are doing a BFG where only gems or essence/hidden door/anemone/other stuff drops. The game has it in place where chances of drop of a same seed in same area is very very low. IMO, Farmer Role / Chef Role / Fishing Role are the best, Fishing being way easier amongst the three.

For builder role, if your sole purpose is to get it for crafting, its not worth it- honestly I could craft things for free for you, just lock the oven around blocks and public the oven and I punch for you lol

I am just one level away from JOAT and my grinding experience says that Fishing is the easiest to profit from and one of the easiest for roles. Its just a hassle to keep fishing for role drops

1. Buy Lgrid blocks (110-120/1), Break the blocks and Sell the seed (23/1) [P.s :Save 2 wls for curing Malady (depending on what malady you have,should clear malady if it's muscle torn or gemcut).]
   You'll earn alot from it, the more you invest wls into it. but you'll need to invest a lot of time breaking the Lgrid blocks, it is also a great way to earn exp.

1.1 Instead of selling the seeds (23/1) [184/8], you can plant them instead in a world with 2400+ seeds. and sell the world in a higher price, usually it's 140 for unready and 150 for ready. I don't know how hard it is to sell, but I only tried it once.

2. Invest some world locks into mass, mainly portcullis/purple/bathtub. farm blocks that are farmable and splice them into making the three easier high demand blocks.

you can also invest in making science stat/display block, however I would recommend you doing this, if you have 3dls investment into it + an Harvester ready.

Here is my story:
Through 5 years of research: In the world SWEDEN, owned by Wronix, there was a vending machine world. I had access to a small lock (bottom left side of the world), not even full access. On August 16, 2019, the world was “nuked”. The most likely reason seems to be that near the entrance of the world, there was a public billboard where random players could leave comments. One of those comments violated Growtopia’s terms by advertising the sale of in-game currency for real money (possibly in Swedish), which I know is illegal. From what I understand, the world owner didn’t react to the violation quickly enough, which likely led to the world being nuked.

My only involvement in this world was supplying chandelier blocks/seeds. There is evidence in the same world. I ask mods to investigate my access in the world. I believe I was caught in very unfortunate circumstances despite having done nothing wrong. I am committed to providing any further information to assist with this investigation.

Hey guys, I’m not sure if I was heard, that is why I'm reaching out publicly, because I need mods help to settle my game restriction case once and for all, that occurred on August 16, 2019, for my account – artikas. Over the years, I’ve contacted support multiple times, but only received auto-replies.

Here is my story:
Through 5 years of research: In the world SWEDEN, owned by Wronix, there was a vending machine world. I had access to a small lock (bottom left side of the world), not even full access. On August 16, 2019, the world was “nuked”. The most likely reason seems to be that near the entrance of the world, there was a public billboard where random players could leave comments. One of those comments violated Growtopia’s terms by advertising the sale of in-game currency for real money (possibly in Swedish), which I know is illegal. From what I understand, the world owner didn’t react to the violation quickly enough, which likely led to the world being nuked.

My only involvement in this world was supplying chandelier blocks/seeds. There is evidence in the same world. I ask mods to investigate my access in the world. I believe I was caught in very unfortunate circumstances despite having done nothing wrong. I am committed to providing any further information to assist with this investigation.

Someone who bought 10k Science stat.
So I bought 10k+ auto science farms (water on it). I spent more than 20 DLs. And I calculated that I get;
~3500 G
~2250 R
~1350 Y
~ 1200 B
~610 P when I harvest 2 times a day.

And when I buy only fuel packs with all my yellow chemicals it gives me a total number of ~620 Fuel packs, which is around 31 WLs profit a day. And when I sell the leftover chemicals like red 1.5k/1, green 1.1k/1, blue 350/1, etc. I get a maximum (if I'm lucky) of 40 WLs a day. I estimated the number of days to get my 20DLs back as 51 days... So, I would doubt if this method is profitable or not... But I can say that if you are not a hardworker and want profit by only auto-harvesting providers 2 times a day, this is your profit method. (Still, it takes quite a lot to harvest 10k+ science stations, but it's way easier than farming, nonetheless.) And by the way, I used to farm lgrids with ut+gaia and 7 full lgrid farms and I was gaining 1 DL, if not 90 WLs profit per day by selling gems with g scan (It takes almost 6~7 hours of my day). So I sold all my things and farms and got those science farms and my profit decreased to half. I do not recommend you to buy tons of science farms, since it is way slower than other profit methods that u can make with the same WLs invested. But I do recommend it if you would not like to play this game too often and want to play less. STILL! Don't forget that you need to spend your 2+ hours twice a day to harvest them, so if you are too lazy do not do this either :D. This is not a 100% lazy profit. If you are that lazy, you just better go buy tackle boxes with those DLs and harvest them once in 2 days... So, as a conclusion, I DO NOT recommend it as a good investment and profit method, but I do recommend it to get somehow a profit by not playing the game that much. The choice is yours...

Profitable. You can get half a farm from it. Harvesting time ~15 minutes collecting time around 10 minutes. Per cycle, regeneration time is 12 hours.

Still suggest you get more budget first before looking into this passive/lazy profit because you cannot afford a full farm. If you mass you need more budget too and its going to take you a lot of effort (steps: #🧙game-advice message), which you are better off just massing something simple constantly and making profit out of.

A full undersea farm rakes you around 15 WLs per harvest cycle, 30 minutes to harvest a farm, effectively making you 30 WLs a day with 1 hour commitment

But then again you lack budget, if you want passive profit, you have to work with active profits first.

Like it doesnt matter what you do, reselling cheap items (idk, hunt old worlds or something for cheap items), massing an item repeatedly. Just don't commit to half a farm (~2.6k) of science stations because its not worth it since you are close to a full farm's budget. Recommend you get a full water farm instead

Yes splicing and farming. Farming is crucial to mitigate seed loss, a huge portion of seed loss is mitigated per cycle depending on number of seeds.

Not sure what the other guy is saying to "harvest and then mix". That's effectively lazy massing and is not always a guaranteed net positive impact unless calculations support it. Then again I see no supported calculations and just a statement that was left lazily

If you want to work with providers temporarily, you can opt for Silkworms. Don't underestimate them ok.

Silkworms average 5.5 threads per harvest, and are harvestable from day 2 onwards. Usually you would profit about 4WLs each at the end of the entire length. Best to make threads of higher demand, such as CotD colours and Black colour.

Feed it 3x at the start when you place it down, then feed 1x everyday. You should harvest and feed daily so you do not leak profits; on this matter, it's more important for you to harvest every single day. If you miss feeding, it's still okay, as they can survive past a day without food. However, not harvesting them is as good as saying bye to profits. Nearing the end of its life, you can stop feeding them on day 18 onwards to save on consumables.

If the Silkworm does not reflect a certain colour ( same as the bolt or the thread ), you won't get that colour- instead, you will get grey threads.

Also, good to plan usage of consumables for the food well. If you are using Maki Rolls, best to use a substitute to maintain its colour when it changes to Black completely- and that is Gruel.

Also Ancestral Orb of Time don't work with Silkworms. Just saying.

You can't take out gems from a HoG, same with other Machine-type blocks so you need to make your gem's worth when powering it up.

The HoG runs indefinitely even after you log off, same works with the Tesseract Manipulator. So long as there are enough gems to power them.
