For laser grids, you can get 20k gems from harvesting and about 52k gems from breaking Laser Grid blocks. This is assuming a full farm holds 2645 trees.
Alongside this, you will also get near to 190 extra seeds provided all extra blocks are broken.

You'd get around 25k gems from harvesting and 70k gems from breaking all the blocks including the excess blocks for a full Chandelier farm.

Nah, it's a rate limit rule, not a repetition rule. If it catches based on repeated tasks, the game would be unplayable

You should farm them for the gems. Consider renting break rooms in public popular break worlds or renting breaking services if you've just returned to the game and are not planning to invest a lot of time into the game.

Is it better for me to autoclave the leftover tools and resell them or do I use the remaining tools for surg another player?
With the current prices, I only suggest autoclaving away Antiseptics / Transfusions (or tools within price range of 17 - 18 / 1). Of course, this value changes by the overall price of all the tools.

This is what you see on the client side. On the server side, they would see multiple entries in a short period of time, and would trigger the rate limiting rule they have in place. This can also occur when punching blocks while lagging- the server would track multiple punches (which is not normally possible) in a second, and trigger the rate limit rule, causing the error connecting error.

I do have a message written here about rate limit rule, if you're keen to find out more, head to (#🧙game-advice message)

There's also an issue with some ISPs now, so the error connecting error may not necessarily be caused by the rate limiting rule. However, prior to the issues, this was how it went.

This would really depend on what area you are trying to cover, as well as your budget.

I usually categorize this into two (exclude investments, as they are long term):

• Really Short Term Trading
• Down to minutes
• Must have a highly active market to play with
• Must be very decisive

A good example of such a market is the ancestral artifact market. BUYANCES is always filled with players, and when you're out of options, you can always head to BUYANCESS. You can also come back at a later hour / off peak hour, but if you're planning to make a lot of profits, you should buy and sell in minutes rather than hours, as your profit per sale can be very minimal.

• Trading (in not-so-active markets)
• Can go into hours
• Can be indecisive
• Does not require an active market, but it should be relatively popular in the market

Any popular item that works. A good example would be Wolf Spirit. They're really popular, as a cosmetic itself and for profiting. You can usually hold on to this for hours and camp a trading world. Your profits are determined by your decisions.

What should you have planned before going into trading?

• Fixing a buying price range (if the item is commonly sold off at 200WLs and bought at 120WLs, you can set the range to be around 120WLs)
• Fixing a selling price range (carrying forward the previous example, you should set this around 180-200WLs)
• Fixing an exit price (if in case, the item drops below your expectations, and hits ~100WLs, you should sell it even if you lose out. This would prevent you from losing much more, and also prevent you from wasting your time.)

If you're going with Bountiful Lattice Fences, and are starting with blocks (price ~120 / WL), you'd need ~10.6k blocks, so ~89 at this rate. If you are starting with seeds (price ~20 / WL), you'd need ~133 at this rate.

Blocks are cheaper than seeds. But if you go by the Fences first, you'd have to break them before starting cycle 0, which requires more time and effort. If you are limited on WLs, you should get blocks over seeds when starting off.

This should total your costs to ~130 . You can also choose to make your own soil farm.

Find some bfg, there’s always some open it just takes a min to find them (I go to world bfg and follow links). Get 15k gems then clear undersea blast, sell clear world and the waters. Then make a dirt farm and use those wls to buy some lattice bg and farm it. Then buy or make door seeds and mass screen door, that can get you your first DL

I'm just going to throw an honest opinion of mine here:

The content posted out is consistent and the game overall has much more variety in terms of items which is a really good aspect going for the game. Though in some of their updates, they just bring bugs into their updates along with new items. Great example would be the Hide UI bringing along a break in the hotbar's punch and wrench. Recently, they also bugged out the collecting animation, now it feels really cursed to pick items up.

Its getting better in terms of items and details, but there are still quite a number of bugs that aren't really handled

I suggest searching on discord with buy+ [item name] and sell+ [item name] keywords since everyone's using discord to advertise their stuff now- if its a really costly item, consider double checking in reich, spend and seeds public boards too. With the buying price and selling price, you can easily deduce an equilibrium price of the item.

Things to note if you're checking this way:

• Avoid chunky, repeated texts: Likely overpriced/underpriced. Block them on discord if need be, it filters out their messages on the search bar.

• Check timestamps and look for multiple results, don't settle on just the first few results. Try to source from up to two weeks ago ( this is arguable, so I'll also say it differs based on item's popularity )

Many players which are new to surgery also pick up Train-E to train themselves and get up to 20 skill points at the start too.

what should i consider when deciding what to mass? Ive alr done quite alot mostly from yt. But a handful of them often fails since the prices of the massed item often goes down. I did science stat mass last time but lost alot of profit since the price dropped.

@marsh shell Massing is basically using low rarity seeds such as grass, dirt, cave bg to splice your way up to get popular high rarity items such as display boxes, steel etc.

The amount of wls spent depends on how many trees you wanna make.

How do I know if a mass is good to go?

Take a look at the respective trade worlds and see the demand and supply. If there is demand for the item, go for it.

Where can I get recipes about these masses?

Worlds like MASS is amazing if you are a first time masser as it calculates the seed loss for you.
If you are a little more experienced, MASSRICH or MASSHELP can be good worlds to refer to. Just remember that these worlds are here for references and seed loss rates given in the worlds may not be 100% accurate!

Tips on massing

1. Determine how many trees you want to make and be sure to account for any seed loss along the way.
   My best tip is to add 50-100 seeds on top of the original amount you are massing.
   Example, if I am massing 100 trees, i will usually do about 150 trees in order to account for any seed loss so I will not fall below 100 trees.

2. Understand which steps are farmable or cheap to skip.
   You won't need to splice every step of the way and this is where buying seeds is crucial to save your sanity.
   For example, if I am massing porticullis, I will require death spikes and dungeon doors (window + door).
   In this case, I can just buy death spike seeds and window seeds (both are farmable) and farm them to the desired amount first, which can save you a bunch of wls and effort.

3. Make use of items to help you out! (for those with a bigger budget)
   Items such as harvester + DCS + fuel packs can go a long way to help you get more blocks out of your non-farmables, reduces your seed loss in a way.
   Apart from those, Buddy head + builder's role level and the blue ancestral tesseract of dimensions help you squeeze more blocks out of your breaking, which helps reduces your seed loss!

Minor profits are still considered profits, and they would build up consistently on a heavily active market

Another example for this would be vending machine market, there's two to play around with (normal and digi)

As what @sterile topaz mentioned, they can be used to handle both scenarios mentioned by you. Should also mention that bleeds either caused by using Surgical Splints, or already existed at the start of the surgery (or when there's 0 incisions made) can be solved by using Surgical Stitches. If there are no incisions made, Surgical Clamps will not appear as an available tool to use in the panel

Think of it like a contigency plan yeah. If the item drops below your buying price and drops even further, you shouldn't waste more time on it and possibly cost you more WLs for holding on to it. The exit price point can be anywhere you want them to be, not necessarily directly below the buying price range.

This is a bigger factor for high priced items which doesn't have an active market, since your loss would be much higher and it would be harder to get it out when it is already dropping. For an active market, you usually wouldn't see this much, and it would recover quickly (unless something goes really wrong that puts in a lot of supply to the market, which you would have enough time to react to).

There's also the consideration of peak and off peak hours, that's for you to play around with too

For shatter quest, since crystals cannot be placed in an unlocked world, you cannot harmonize crystals and sell quests. They can however be made beforehand with a world locked world and then sold even when the world is unlocked.

For kill quest, it wouldn't work without a world lock- Game Generator requires a world lock to function.

Root farming is basically making use of the fertile soil blocks and planting bountiful seeds on it.

All you need to get started:

1. Fertile soil blocks (they are farmable so you can just buy the blocks which go for 120-150/wl)
2. Your choice of bountiful farmables

Currently there are 2 popular farmables people use for root farming.

1. Bountiful lattice fence (Rarity: 47)
2. Bountiful Growtopian-eating looming plant (Rarity:68)

A full farm of bountiful lattice fence is able to yield about 200-250k gems every week, compared to looming which gives you 350k every 2 weeks.

The basic idea is similar to farming but you don't get gems when you break the blocks and will only get gems when you harvest a level 3 root.

Everytime you plant the seeds, it will form roots. In order for one to collect gems, you will need to punch and break til the tree says "Level 3".
Afterwards, just gently punch the soil block once for your gems and root cuttings.
Root cuttings are these seeds that will appear when your harvest a root (punching a mature soil block) They usually sell for 200-400/wl.

Honestly would also like to know how to contact them. The only mod I could reach out to was Misthios, other mods don’t allow you to send messages to them unless you’re a friend (very inconvenient.)
