This can differ, but most likely not a good idea. Let's go into the calculations ( example with Laser Grids ):

Blocks are about 90/1 and seeds are about 22/1. A ready costs 145 and unready costs 135.

A full dirt farm will give an average of 2645 seeds. Added along with Harvesters, which will proc an estimated of 264 times ( which would cost 264 Fuel Packs, ~13/1 ( total ~21WLs )), would bring you about 10.9k total blocks with 132 seeds and 20k gems.

Lets sum up your costs:
135WLs ( farm ) + 21WLs ( fuel packs ) = 156WLs

And lets calculate your sales:
10900/90 = 121.1
132/22= 6
20,000gems = ~20WLs

Resulting in about 147WLs total, bringing you to a loss of 9WLs.

I usually treat Harvester's special effect as adding additional trees without extra gems.

For most cases, I use harvester's special effect mainly for massing- to mitigate the effect of seed loss when proceeding on, or just giving more fruits overall in a lazy mass.

It is hardly profitable to use Harvester's special effect when the cost of the seed is lesser than Fuel Packs. Thus, you should only use Harvester's special effect with Fuel Packs when the cost of the harvested seeds are more than that of Fuel Packs.

An example would be Plumbing seeds. Since they are ~6/1 and Fuel Packs are ~13/1, it is worth to use Harvesters and Fuel Packs when harvesting its trees

The reason behind this is because the seed you are harvesting is costlier than the price of Fuel Packs. You would gain more value (and wls) if it meets this rule.

You need to prepare either Pepper/Lgrid/Chand, farms. Once you have alot of farms just wait till alien event than use alien scanner while harvesting the trees, and you can get alien landing pot which cost around 150wls per pod so its super profit

By my data, with Trawlerman's Friend, a good fisherman can catch around 160-180 catches within 30 minutes ( or the timespan of a Trawlerman's Friend )

Using the same piece of data, and with the assumption that you get the lowest in the range, at 160 catches per 30 minutes ( with trawlers ) and 80 catches per 30 minutes ( without trawlers ):

You would take (20000*30)/160 = 3750 minutes WITH Trawlerman's Friend, and (20000*30)/80 = 7500 minutes without.

( catch data was obtained with trawler gemonade fishing, along with Trod got around 20-22k gems per 30m )
