Having a DCS is usually much better when your doing recycle method of buying gems and 200 pepper tree is average to give you 1k gems so times that with the average harvest of a full farm which is averaged to be 7k to 9k blocks (without DCS) you can get 40k to 45k gems per farm then sell the DF once your done harvesting it, and if you really want to buy a cheaper farm then go for 7 or 8 lett farm, they usually sell much cheaper like 75wls

But you cant sell the world because of the 5lett standards of df people want

I did do splicing of Lumber Axes and Candy Cane Blocks before- they went pretty well especially Lumber Axes. Went around GROWCH and got Giving Trees and sold them for decent profit.

As for Sugar Canes ( which iirc is for the other 3 splicable Candy Cane series blocks ), they should rise in demand. Honestly I might even buy from you if my prepared sugar canes run out lol.

Water Bucket is only for Snowball and Tangyuan, I'm not sure about the reach of these so I can't say much lol. Snowball splicers would definitely buy out water buckets without issue though.

Though instead of prep, you should also consider during event profits. Not everything requires you to work- probably camp and buy cheap decorations and make hot chocolates would make a great investment for carnival sales.

You're definitely fighting the boss wrongly if you have to spend 50wls in one run to escape the respawn timers; pretty sure each boss gets deleted below 30 minutes with this much demand too, might be just your poor playstyle of fighting the boss for the second part.

You didn't input the minimum required quantity before clicking on buy button of the vending machine (there's an input box for integers when you interact with the Vending Machine).

You need to purchase 1 World Lock worth of the advertised item (by entering the number of items you want to buy, must be at least 1 ) if it's set to multiple quantities of said item for 1 .

For example, if you plan to buy Blue Block seeds which are set to 19 / , and you'd like to purchase 19 of them, wrench the Vending Machine and enter "19", then click on purchase. You cannot purchase less than advertised quantity which is not worth a World Lock; the system does not break the World Lock up.

Another example. Let's say you want to buy 14 Blue Block seeds, but the price is set to 19 / . if you enter "16", the Vending Machine will not allow you to purchase and will result in an error message "You must buy 1 World lock worth of items".
