By the way, if you're just starting off startopia, I suggest using Skill Spice and go with the intention of completing star voyages till you reach skill level 100.
Also, study the tool usages ( literally ) to know when to use what.

Startopia requires a lot of reading, and there can be multiple issues at any point in time, so deciding when to fix or deal with which is critical too. If you are just one step away from completing the main mission, then go with the main problem, not the side problem. Can't explain this well, though you will be able to see it when you try it out

Best to get at least 5 tools for each startopia mission, considering skill fail may be your biggest enemy as a starter.

if you're looking for farmables then laser grids and pepper trees are great

as for what to mass, that is strongly dependent on your budget but anything which paths on from purple blocks, steel/golden blocks, plumbings, portcullis/ancient stone gates are generally good in terms of demand

Yeah Startopia really is a read-and-do activity lol. Anyways it shouldn't be that tough. You should start off with understanding each tool's usage first though, that is what I strongly recommend.

Also I see that a portion was not explained properly-

Get a starship blast ( tier differences = fuel capacity )
The star fuel capacity scales by starship tier. If you're not bothered by it but feel it may be somewhat affecting, it's fine to go with Greezak tier.

Basic ship parts will also be provided in the starship. You will need to level these basic parts up though, otherwise you would not be able to proceed to other sectors.

Black Crystals are not commonly used for shattering in Carnival (as quest completers/ (offevent) service sellers) would want to reduce their costs as much as possible to get more shatter quests made. There's no risk in this at all, compared to Ghost Hunting (where profit scales by proficiency). If the farm price were to drop, you could always sell it and still end up in a profit. At the very least, you'd still be making 1 per minute with these current market prices.

The rest of your WLs could go to an unready farm. Sell that when that's ready and rebuy it for more passive profits.

The most efficient way to mass now would be to start from farmable components. This would grant you the opportunity to:

• Mitigate seed loss efficiently through farming of farmable components
• Reduce the time taken to reach a particular step (in which starting from scratch is absolutely bad for)
• Plan ahead easily and calculate ending trees/post step trees

In the case of a Science Station mass (which your original query asked for), it is best to farm the farmable components as much as possible, to mitigate the effect of seed loss and boost profits. One can also use fruit drop and block drop boosters to further the effect of mitigating seed loss.

You don't necessarily have to SB in order to sell it. You have the option of raking up many offers in BUY4LETTER, and also advertising it on Discord trading channels. The SB option should come as a last resort, and if anything, you would be losing quite a big portion of your sales with the current costs of SBs.

Still though, the current story has yet to conclude, and the situation may change for the better. However, if you feel that you've gotten a pretty high offer and cannot get any higher, don't SB, and just sell it. It's much better to save up that 280 as of current.

Both of these items cannot be compared, to answer your query however, Stethoscope halves the skill fail chances (50% sfr) and Healing Tome does not have any % negation- but if you're deciding between these two, it is much better to go with Healing Tome, then wearing SFR items on the hand slot and consuming Skill Spice. Stethoscope is expensive, and honestly it wouldn't be all that game changing if you're already at maxed skill level and have another SFR item equipped + skill spice.

Just my thoughts though. With my max leveled surgeon role, exquisite bone saw and skill spice, i get around 3% skill fail on average. Stethoscope is plain unnecessary and it is impossible to completely eliminate skill fail.

Is this for pre-mercy? You can check for "The Doctor" achievement- though this only shows surgery status up till 1000 mark. From there on, there isn't any other way to check for completed surgeries other than your caduceus count, or to perform a vicious malady surgery successfully with the full blingin set equipped.

With mercy, just click info on the item's description. It would be pointless to check surgeries that are done without mercy's equipped if you already have it.
