The main profit behind it comes from selling the rare seeds at higher-than-market-equilibrium prices, so well of course by this sentence I mean that prices should be set to the point where you are benefitting (calculations are required of course).

Base requirement I would suggest for an SSP store is 10k packs. You should get ~161.29 rare seeds of each one (rare seeds are from Rarity 13 onwards), hope this helps in your calculation:

How many seeds of each can I expect if I open 10k packs?
Based on the theory that 1 pack gives 4 common seeds and 1 rare seed, in 10,000 packs, one will get 50,000 seeds in total, with 40,000 of them being common seeds and 10,000 of them being rare seeds.
40,000 / 87 = 459.7 common seeds each
10,000 / 62 = 161.29 rare seeds each

The main downsides for SSP is that it is heavily competitive, advertising takes up too much (either time or wls) and that there are too many things to manage. Some consider harvesting a full science station farm to be much better than slowly waiting for seeds to sell out due to these.

This current period, it is currently seeing an overall dropping trend (-0.1-0.15WL price drop over the past week). May drop further, that I cannot give a definite answer on however.

Usually how I go by deciding things like this would be:

• Do I need the WLs desperately?
• Will the WLs gained from selling the item/world be for a good cause?

If so, sell it. Otherwise, keep it.

You can't really decide how many to make tbh, since it's a chance-to-splice kinda mechanic when you meet the rarity range. Just splice as much as possible! Do also note that they'll be at their peak on the first few hours to days of the event, and that planting these Pineapple trees on fertile soil blocks may drop their cutting which is just an added bonus in terms of income.

As mentioned by @full meadow, it is only recommended to harvest trees with fuel packs equipped along with a harvester if the price of the seeds are costlier than the price of fuel packs. Otherwise, you'd be making a loss.

If the tree you are deciding to harvest with the Harvester's special effect is a farmable, you can also choose to do so if it meets the aforementioned requirement. This boosts seed gain per farming cycle. If it isn't a farmable, it helps to mitigate seed loss upon proc (by dropping more fruits)!

Daily Quests, or short for DQ, are commonly traded in BUYDQ. Since the specified required item is arbitrarily selected by the system, one cannot know the items required on a new Growtopia day.
What you usually want to do/look out for:

• Be online when the Growtopia day resets. This is so that you can find stocks at cheap rates as early as possible.
• Cheap/decently priced DQs. If it's extremely pricey, such as above a Diamond Lock's worth, there's no point in investing your resources to find cheap stocks.
• RSP/SSP selected items. Best to avoid something extremely cheap, as there's almost no chance for them to rise due to demand.

These points are not exhaustive, should you feel that there are other important factors to look out for as well, trust your guts!

• Fossil Harvests quest; this is reliant on the factor of randomness and may not grant profits. The profit condition from this is to get an Ancient Plant Seed, or any rewards which are costlier than the price of the Fossil/Polished Fossil.
• Kill Quest; to allow players to punch you in a game generator environment, takes time but can be shortened with more players.
• Provider Harvest quest; requires providers which are ready to harvest
