you could sell some of your items and step up by farming htbs (High Tech Block) which has almost identical stats as lgrids, difference is hardness and the fact it may drop a kerjigger

This has been the same for the past years as well, mainly because of supply and demand; seeds and farms will rise prior to and during the event due to heavy demand and preparation & blocks will drop due to oversupply during the event

That's the laziest passive method you could get, does not require you to log on. If you do get Growscan, you could also provide services. That may require you to log on a lot more though.

If you are still semi active, consider vend stores ( surgery or crime ) or provider farms ( science stations ). These would require you to log on and get stocks or harvest and moderate your world regularly. Advertising also plays a huge part.

There are also other options like lazy massing ( very risky ), planting and harvesting Ghost Jar trees (semi risky, requires proper equipments), BBMs and Silkworms ( decent but you have to log on and maintain daily ), and reselling of items which changes to a better state overtime ( such as buying unready farm and selling ready farm ).

My honest thoughts: I can harvest my science station farm twice daily and still make nearly equal profits compared to like 2 hours of your moderation of your BFG world without committing much time (1 hour for 2 harvests, 30 wls ish)
