If you prefer active profit methods, go for

Mass projects - this is a very good profit method if done right and scales based on effort placed into the project and farming of the farmable components. Very tiring but pays off at the end of the mass project. You need not place all 35 into it, just a portion of it is enough (and you can even afford drop boosters if you don't have them already). Few good mass projects for starters : Blue Portal, Paint Bucket and Beehives. For higher tier products, might want to look into Spirit Storage Unit and Pocket Lighter mass projects.

Farming / Root Farming - this point should be self explanatory, and should also be considered even if your budget is pretty high. What you can do is upgrade the farmables you are handling *(to something much costlier, i.e Marble Block or High Tech Blocks) to boost profits. For root farming, you could sell the mature roots instead, for more profits.

Ghost Hunting - tiring to do so with a high budget, suggest splitting it down and working on this alongside other profit methods.

Trade Profiting - considered an active profit method. Would recommend trading high popularity and useful items (such as Ancestral Artifacts in BUYANCES). Follow the theory of buying low and selling high- don't be afraid to humiliate yourself when you negotiate for a lower price. Always buy at buyer price (don't buy it at their equilibrium price or their selling price, you'll lose out this way). Another tip- item prices usually rise in price by a slight bit during peak hours of the game!

If you prefer passive profits, go for :

Vend stores - this point itself is self explanatory, but what's important about this is the prices you set and how you advertise them. The prices you set should be calculated beforehand, and then commit to it if it generates you an overall profit while also meeting consumer's demands. As for the advertising part, it'd be good to go into trade worlds regarding the store it is on and advertise it through texts / through discord.

Reselling of ready farms - This profit basically is lazy, as it just requires you to purchase unready farms, then wait for them to grow and sell them as ready. Best options to do this on would be on highly popular farmables (i.e Pepper Trees). Do be aware of scams when purchasing unready farms though, or make one directly yourself, that's the best option.

Investing in items - best option for this would be to place them into event-exclusive/restricted items, requires you to hold on to them for months before they see a distinguishable rise in price.

Provider farms - Would be best to pour them into science station farms with your current budget. Do be advised that your profit only comes when you harvest the providers. It is estimated that each harvest of a full farm of science stations will grant you 12 - 15 ; they can be harvested twice daily.

This does not really answer your query on the "best" profit method! I cannot provide you an answer for that as the meta changes everytime and I'm not really up to date at times.

About 60-100WLs has to be dedicated to a pair of battle pets; this is the BARE MINIMUM; estimated cost of Spam Acro/ Spam Hpants.

You can get a more expensive composition if you'd like to, that is mainly depending on whether you'd progress with the battle pets to do more pet battling.

The most efficient way to banish a boss ghost would be to purchase a boss ghost quest directly. You can find advertised ones in BUYQUEST.

It'd be best if you found one with an already-spawned boss ghost. This will reduce the waiting time.

What is required: Ghost Hunting gear ( Spectral Goggles/ Synthetic Oculum, Neutron Gun, Neutron Pack )

What you need to do: damage the boss ghost by dragging it with the ghost hunting set equipped, to a beam which is produced by linked containment nodes.

Note: you MUST damage the boss ghost in order to be logged as a "banisher". If you disconnect mid way, this will reset, so you will have to redamage the boss ghost.

Your suspicion here is that doing the DNA quest manually would be more expensive. No quest sellers would be selling a quest cheaper than the cost of ingredients unless they are planning a scam.
