Nah it's like you saw the price for 280wls, instead you'll wait for a bit then the price dropped suddenly to 250wls then you buy it but when you keep it for a while it goes back to 280wls and you get profit

You don't have to sell it tomorrow, holding it for a while is basically an investment in the long run since you bought items that has functions or limited to a certain event

The price can rise or drop depends on the demand and stock, let's just use Licorice Rod for example since you can only obtain it from Carnival making the stock is quite harder to get and when it's almost Winterfest the price rose due to high demand for people that wants to fish for Tree Decorations

Basically if the demand is higher but lower stock then the price will rise
if the stock is higher than the demand then the price will drop
if the demand and the stock is the same then the price would be stable most of the time

As for Lunar New Year event, one may consider preparing gems and a few thousands of blocks to break (mainly for either Coin Doors, Paper Dividing Walls or Chinese Archs. They drop from breaking blocks during the event)

You may want to consider picking up long term effort profit methods such as Root Farming, normal Farming or Massing. For the farming part, they're pretty good options right now as Valentine's Week nears (as for gem profits)

For short term & low effort profit methods, trade profiting could be considered. But with that low budget of yours, it can be quite hard to profit from this. BUYBUNNY/BUYBOW/BUYRAINBOW/BUYCAPE could be some markets you may want to consider when flipping items.

Always hold a Geiger Counter with you as well, and upgrade your roles whenever possible.

If you're looking at the lazy massing side, the common things in the market to lazy mass are Display Boxes, Science Stations and Battle Pet Cages. I'm not really that well informed on the lazy massing (mainly because I don't recommend it and I find it very risky).

And again, if you are approaching with lazy masses, do calculations beforehand.

Which farmable type profit are you referring to? For gem profits, you'll be better off with Ancestral Lens of Riches(and it's also cheaper!); for seed profits, you'll be better off with Ancestral Tesseract of Dimensions

4 cycles = 40,000 * 4 = 160,000 gems for 4 cycles

You will get around 250,000 gems back from harvesting the bountiful lattice fence mature roots (~90,000 gems clean profit)

Each Bountiful Lattice Fence takes 4 hits to break with a TM; one hit consumes 1 gem.

With 8,000 gems, you can break up to 2,000 Bountiful Lattice Fences before the machine completely runs out of fuel.

The TM has a 1.5s tick rate, so ~6s for 1 block to be completely broken.
(2,000 * 6) / 3600 = ~3.33 hours.

You'd need 3.33 hours before refilling the gems if you are going for 1 TM only. This value is halved / downscaled based on how many TMs you have of course

By these prices, you can say that breaking 200 Bountiful Lattice Fences will give you 50 Bountiful Lattice Fences seeds (by the theory that seeds drops from breaking blocks at an estimated ratio of 1 : 4).
If you do this on 2645 trees (~106 ), you should get around 10k blocks (~50 ) and around 6 worth of seeds back. You basically lose 50% of initial value by selling the blocks directly.
