I assume you are referring to the Vending Machine feature.

You need to purchase 1 World Lock worth of the advertised item (by entering the number of items you want to buy, must be at least 1 ) if it's set to multiple quantities of said item for 1 .

For example, if you plan to buy Blue Block seeds which are set to 19 / , and you'd like to purchase 19 of them, wrench the Vending Machine and enter "19", then click on purchase. You cannot purchase less than advertised quantity which is not worth a World Lock; the system does not break the World Lock up.

Another example. Let's say you want to buy 14 Blue Block seeds, but the price is set to 19 / . if you enter "14", the Vending Machine will not allow you to purchase and will result in an error message "You must buy 1 World lock worth of items"

Do note that you need to have Trawlerman's Friend & Thanksgiving Dinner Fishing Rod for it to work well.

Thanksgiving Rod is necessary as gems are only awarded when a fish is caught; Trawlerman's Friend decreases time to find a catch which is very helpful to maximize the Gemonade effect.

Massing is usually the process of splicing two seeds together (which has an existing recipe), into another component which builds up into the final product.

Massing slightly differs from the usual " farming " process, you do not just plant, harvest and break and repeat for massing. You have to evaluate and plan your steps carefully as it could potentially result in you losing more WLs for every mistake you do.

One of the biggest worries you should have as a masser would be the issue of seed loss. When cycling through to the last step, some components may be unfarmable components, and therefore will result in seed loss per cycle. You can mitigate this by using fruit drop boosters like harvesters [with fuels to proc the double fruit drop eff] and dcs, or break blocks with blue ances and bbh.

To further follow up on this point, you should only cycle through an unfarmable component once.
But, how should I tell whether the block is farmable or not?

For farmable components, you should cycle through them more than once, as it will reduce future step seed loss (considering the next step is a non farmable component)

Something to take note of is that Lazy Massing does not equal to normal Massing. Lazy Massing will more often than not result in you losing wls.
Lazy massing is purchasing and splicing the pre-step seeds together to obtain the final product. This will more often than not result in you losing WLs and is not recommended.

As said earlier, massing is the process of splicing two seeds together (which has an pre-existing recipe), into another component which builds up into the final product. However, you should start from farmable components and continously refarm them in order to mitigate future step seed loss to maximize your profit.

There are some worlds such as MASS or MASSHELP which has information and steps to guide you on how to mass. Always remember to check whether a block is farmable or not to follow up with more than one or just one cycle.

Recommended mass projects within your budget range : Purple Blocks (beginner friendly), Bathtubs and Portcullis.
For a Purple Block mass :
Red Block Seed [ 50 - 70 / ] - 8 to get 400 seeds
Blue Block Seed [ 18 - 20 / ] - 21 to get 399 seeds

What you should do : farm the Red Blocks and Blue Blocks up as much as possible, till you reach an amount you're satisfied with, then splice them together for Purple Block trees. Harvest the trees and break the Purple Blocks, then sell the seeds in BUYPURPLE. Your profit scales based on how much refarming you do on the farmable components.

For a Portcullis mass:
Window seeds [ 80 / ] - 8 to get 640 seeds
Door [ Dirt + Cave Background is the cheapest option ] - Grind as much as possible. This number should match the number of Window seeds before you splice them into Dungeon Doors.
Death Spikes seeds [ 35 / ] - 17 to get 595 seeds

Windows ( farmable component ) + Door = Dungeon Door ( not a farmable component )
Optional step : Danger Sign + Rock Background = Death Spikes
Dungeon Door ( not a farmable component ) + Death Spikes ( farmable component ) = Portcullis ( not a farmable component )

What you should do : farm Window seeds and mass produce a ton of door seeds, then when you reach an amount you are satisfied with, splice them into Dungeon Door Trees. Break the Dungeon Doors ONCE ONLY, as they are unfarmable and will result in seed loss if you refarm them. Following this, farm the Death Spikes till you reach the same amount of seeds as your Dungeon Door seeds. Splice them together, harvest the portcullis trees when they are ready, and break them ONCE ONLY for seeds, then sell the seeds.

Note: Components in this case refers to blocks or wallpapers.

What you need to do :

FARM Brown Blocks and White Blocks up.

How much should I farm?
Farm Brown Blocks up till you reach the number of Crappy Sign seeds you have, then splice them together to get Toilets. After completing the splicing process, harvest the Toilet trees and break the toilets for the seeds. Thereafter, farm up the White Blocks till you reach the exact number of Toilet seeds you have. Then splice them up again.

Plumbings:
Optional step: Door + Dirt = Crappy Sign (not a farmable component)
Crappy Sign(not a farmable component) + Brown Block (farmable component) = Toilet (not a farmable component)
Toilet (not a farmable component) + White Block (farmable component) = Bathtub (not a farmable component)
Bathtub (not a farmable component) + Green Block (farmable component) = Plumbings (not a farmable component)

@mellow stump as to where you should store the seeds, I suggest making dirt farms for them. The Dirt and Cave Background seeds can be used in Portcullis mass, or sold for 200 / Huge Lock so don't throw them away. They have value.

You don't experience seed loss in Purple Block mass project, as Purple Block (the end product) itself, is a farmable block.

Red Blocks and Blue Blocks (Purple Block's prepaths) are also farmable blocks, so there's essentially no room for losing seeds unless you start with super low initial seed counts.

It takes about 3.3 hours to break 10k blocks by using only 1 TM, it's recommended to use 4 - 5 TMs so that it will only take about less than 1 hour

You'd need around 40,000 gems for 1 cycle (10,000 blocks from 1 farm harvest cycle, each bountiful lattice fence takes 4 hits to break)

4 cycles = 40,000 * 4 = 160,000 gems for 4 cycles

You will get around 250,000 gems back from harvesting the bountiful lattice fence mature roots (~90,000 gems clean profit)

Each Bountiful Lattice Fence takes 4 hits to break with a TM; one hit consumes 1 gem.

With 8,000 gems, you can break up to 2,000 Bountiful Lattice Fences before the machine completely runs out of fuel.

The TM has a 1.5s tick rate, so ~6s for 1 block to be completely broken.
(2,000 * 6) / 3600 = ~3.33 hours.

You'd need 3.33 hours before refilling the gems if you are going for 1 TM only. This value is halved / downscaled based on how many TMs you have of course

How much should I farm?

Farm Brown Blocks up till you reach the number of Crappy Sign seeds you have, then splice them together to get Toilets. Theory calculations suggests 10,800 Crappy Signs and Brown Block seeds.

After completing the splicing process, harvest the Toilet trees and break the toilets. You should expect ~9500 to 10000 Toilet seeds from this.

Thereafter, farm up the White Blocks till you reach the exact number of Toilet seeds you have. Then splice them up again. Assuming you have 9500 Bathtub trees, you should get 8400 to 8800 Bathtub seeds back after an entire cycle of harvesting the spliced tree and breaking the Bathtubs for seeds. You are strongly recommended to harvest Bathtub trees with Harvesters + Fuel Packs and Dreamcatcher Staff.

Finally, farm up the Green Blocks and match the amount of Bathtub seeds you have, then splice them together. Again, you are strongly recommended to harvest Bathtub trees with Harvesters + Fuel Packs and Dreamcatcher Staff.

Massing projects are the best in my opinion, but that really requires a ton of hard work. And I mean A LOT.

1 WL isn't going to get you into the game of massing though. You're gonna need more unless you're prepared to start from scratch ( which is very very very, very painful. )

What you could do first would be to make dirt farms and then sell them, while also saving up the excess dirt and cave background seeds. Once you reach about 30 I'd say you're good to go with Purple Block / Portcullis / Bathtub mass projects.

As for trading, it wouldn't work out well towards your favor, especially with just a WL. Again, you'll need more. Trading isn't great on low budgets though, as you may see yourself spending 2 hours just to even earn a World Lock through it.

The process of losing seeds occurs from the harvesting phase.

Breaking blocks, regardless of their farmability status, if they can drop seeds, they are estimated to be 1 in every 4 blocks. A simple way to prove this is if you've done Ghost Hunting before, you should know that every 200 Ghost Jars can give you ~50 seeds; this amount is also the same for breaking any farmables.

The farmability of a component is mainly dependent on the harvesting phase. A farmable component will drop more than 4 fruits max, compared to an unfarmable component where fruits are capped at 4 max per tree without any fruit drop boosters. It is also dependent as seeds are more likely to drop when harvesting a farmable component compared to an unfarmable component(this point is also somewhat dependent on Rarity of the said component).

As for the breaking phase, the estimated ratio of seeds dropped from breaking blocks is 1:4 and is fixed for all blocks and consumables which has a chance of dropping seeds
No matter block or consumables, it will return seeds (if it does drop any) from using the said item at an estimated ratio of 1 : 4

There's no despawning or "system clearing" system in Growtopia. Dropped items will forever be there and won't despawn naturally.

However, worlds do reset if they are inactive. This is also documented somewhere in /rules in-game.

For an active profit method:
Trade Profiting is one of the best ways to get around, and is pretty doable with your budget. Trading Ancestral Artifacts are great, they have constant market demand and are also useful. BUYANCES is always packed and players there are mainly focused on trading Ancestral Artifacts so you shouldn't have troubles buying and selling(which lasts hours). You can also make use of the peak hour and off peak hours in Growtopia to resell your stuff. High popularity items usually has an increase in value (/demand) during peak hours of the game. Other markets such as BUYBUNNY / BUYHAND / BUYCAPE / BUYRAINBOW should also be considered.

Massing is also another active profit method which should be considered. Do read this for a complete introduction to massing if you're not sure about what it is :

High tier masses are recommended, i.e Fossil Brushes, Spirit Storage Units.
If you're new to massing, pick up Paint Bucket / Beehive / Blue Portal mass instead, as their prepaths are farmable blocks.

Farming and Traditional Farming should also be considered, but with a high budget of 27 , it could be pretty tiring and too much to handle. Do split up your budget and assign them for other profit methods wisely.

For lazy/passive profit methods:
Investing is a great choice, but may not really be effective if you're placing a portion into it; placing them into event-exclusive items and holding them for a few months will usually see a distinguishable rise in price.

Opening a Vending shop is pretty good with your budget. This is pretty self explanatory. The tough part of this is the advertising of the store.

Getting a provider farm (Science Stations are recommended) and harvesting them regularly - This is pretty self explanatory; your profit comes from harvesting the providers. A full science station farm gives ~15 per harvest cycle.

The best option for guaranteed profits is to sell them. Gachaing is reliant on the factor of randomness and should never be considered as a stable way of profit.

If you're gachaing for fun, any of them works. The difference is that if you break them individually, you get more rewards than what Well of Love gives ( 5 : 1 ). Either breaking or using them in Well of Love during Valentine's Week will build up progress towards SGBC system, so you need not worry about that.
tl;dr : choice is up to you if you are gachaing for fun

The closer you are to the radioactive spot in the world, the stronger the signal's pulse; there are 3 variations of signals, represented in colors (red,yellow and green). Charging a Geiger Counter :
A Dead Geiger Counter requires you to charge it for 30 minutes (15 minutes on Geiger Day) before it can be used (will turn to alive Geiger Counter when it is fully charged). Removing or equipping other hand items will cause the charging process to reset.

An alive Geiger Counter can be used immediately after equipping.

Huh, odd. The the world always has at least 3 players concurrently during peak hours. Probably nobody noticed your room or something. Right now is still peak hour but there's lesser breakers than at 8PM. Try renting when there's a lot of players then, instead of during the peak hour range.
Should solve your problems next time, or if not, hire a breaker. That'd require a break world format though (check BUYBREAK for more info on this)

Though I'd still say that renting at the right time is better and cheaper compared to renting a breaker.

You should sell the crystal, you don't have any use for it as a beginner; the WLs can be used in your current mass instead. They are around 3 - 4 , and can be sold in BUYCRYSTAL.

Just tap on it and spam it on the any empty tile in BUYCRYSTAL (don't do it in your world, you'll place it down. If you attempt to place it on a locked grid, it won't be placed down but the animation will be shown to other players). A trader will approach you in a few minutes perhaps
