Any event limited items will rise in the long run (unless the event the recipe is under is occurring very soon)

Emerald Pickaxe and Baby Bunny are two good examples of this. Their recipe is locked behind the event. Although they are splicable/craftable off-event, their recipe's price will keep climbing as supply depletes over time while their demand rises.

Massing Bathtub/Purple Block/Portcullis works well with your budget or you could cook (Arroz Con Pollo/Trawlerman's Friend/Eggs Benedict are recommended) if you can find cheap ingredients and know how to cook them. Your profits from cooking are further boosted when cooking with Replicators (there are public ones in WESTGATE!). You're limited to a certain extent though, since you have a pretty low budget.

Normal (or traditional) farming works very very well! It works as a stable profit method, and your profit comes from, of course, farming. Since you do not have enough to afford an entire farm, you could purchase blocks, break and sell the seeds for gem profits.

Whilst profiting, do remember to equip a Geiger Counter (purchase it if you don't already own one! It's a great low cost item and may give a high prized reward) and level up your roles whenever possible.

The theory behind ghost hunting profiting is that you catch ghosts with ghost jars and resell the ghost jar seeds as well as the ghost in jars. Your main profit this way comes from the GIJs. (Profit also scales with how proficient you are at ghost hunting.)

The average profit is ~20 from a batch of 200 ghost jars; this amount scales based on how proficient you are at Ghost Hunting.

Trade Profiting also works with less than a DL, but not really efficient. You can flip items in BUYBUNNY/BUYBOW/BUYRAINBOW, by following the theory of 'buy low, sell high'

I do not suggest planting the ghost jar seeds unless you have high quantities of the seed and Dreamcatcher Staff & Harvesters + Fuel Packs.

Normally, ghost hunters would sell the GIJs and Ghost Jar seeds, then rebuy another stack of Ghost Jar and continue ghost hunting. This is better for them as they do not have to spend time waiting for the trees to grow and spend more resources on Fuel Packs.

This is quite debatable actually, I'd say Laser Grids are better than Chandeliers.
Laser Grids has a shorter growth time + higher Gem-Per-Punch ratio compared to Chandeliers. Chandeliers still offers a higher overall gem output though.

Basically, Laser Grids are way more efficient compared to Chandeliers. You can cycle through them more than Chandeliers and end up with more gems, at the expense of more work. One may argue that they could get more Chandelier farms or swap their unready to ready farms to "off-set" this, but it'd just result in more costs stacked up

For the seed design itself, I don't remember seeing anything very very similar to Laser Grids. For planted ones though, they're pretty easy to tell since it's just a red colour tree. This used to be a popular scam previously, where ppl sell "unready laser grid farms" but the laser grid seeds are replaced with romantic bushes seeds because their tree colours were similar

Massing Plumbings/Paint Buckets/ Blue Portals/ Magic Bacon Wallpaper/ Amphoras ( or Ancient Stone Gates ) works well with your budget or you could cook (Arroz Con Pollo/Trawlerman's Friend/Eggs Benedict are recommended) if you can find cheap ingredients and know how to cook them. Your profits from cooking are further boosted when cooking with Replicators (there are public ones in WESTGATE!).

Trade Profiting also works with your budget, but not really efficient. You can flip items in BUYBUNNY/BUYBOW/BUYRAINBOW, by following the theory of 'buy low, sell high'.

Root farming / normal (or traditional) farming are also great! It works as a stable profit method, and your profit comes from, of course, farming.

Ghost hunting is also a great profit method, where your profit scales based on how proficient you are at it.

if you are not lazy:
-if you have growscan, buy gaia and UT from the 25DLS and break gems and sell them before great events like valentines or summer fest
-in general, buy farmables and break them for yourself for gems and use them on summerfest/valentines BUT then its better if you sell the packs you bought, not open them
-mass producing, with 25DLS you can buy dreamcatcher+harvester and the rest of the dls you could put into producing (+fuel) - (this is what im doing with only dcatcher+harvester and so far ive only been making profit)
-get a world with short/good name and design it and sell it. lot of ppl buy nicely designed worlds

if you are lazy:
-buy science stations/tackles/atms other providers (atms are rising so kinda not adviced rn but later when they drop)
-buy items and sell them higher (also called trade profit) with your budget you can go for a lot of things

If you're planning to invest in it, that's also good; the Winterfest Calendar has been fluftuating about its price recently, and hasnt seen a distinguishable rise in price yet. If they, however, add more supply in the store, you may deprofit due to increase in supply.

That's a very good way of gem profiting if you have a low budget. Laser Grids would be a way better option though, as they have a higher gem per punch ratio compared to chandeliers.

Have you sold all of your stocks out yet(including the trash seeds)? If your calculations after selling all the trash seeds out still results in an overall deprofit, the most possible cause would be due to the prices you've set. They were most probably too cheap till the point where you deprofit.

1. __More demand __should arise from the 25th day onwards, due to the 2 high priced epic prizes being obtainable from that day onwards.

People who have a larger budget would probably choose tackle to have as a side accumulative source of income while they do other mainstream thingymajigs

Optimally, you should start ghost hunting with ~1 , you could ghost hunt as much as you want, there's no limit tbh. Would be great to change up profit methods at around 5 - 10 , to trade profiting or some other forms of profit method. The more ghost jars you're working with, the more stressful it gets.

Massing Plumbings/ Magic Bacon Wallpaper/Ancient Stone Gates works well with your budget or you could cook (Arroz Con Pollo/Trawlerman's Friend/Eggs Benedict are recommended) if you can find cheap ingredients and know how to cook them. Your profits from cooking are further boosted when cooking with Replicators (there are public ones in WESTGATE!).

Trade Profiting also works with your budget, but not really efficient. You can flip items in BUYBUNNY/BUYBOW/BUYRAINBOW/BUYNECK, by following the theory of 'buy low, sell high'. If you've abit more budget, you could also go with trade profiting with Ancestral Artifacts. Do be advised that trading has its risks, and you may lose out when trade profiting. It is always good practice to check and observe the price of the item for a few hours to even days before committing.

Root farming / normal (or traditional) farming are also great! It works as a stable profit method, and your profit comes from, of course, farming.

Ghost hunting is also a great profit method, where your profit scales based on how proficient you are at it. With 5 , you'll be dealing with alot more jars, so it may get a little tiring. You might want to split a portion of it for other profit methods rather than put it all into one in this case.

You can also pick up passive profit methods such as opening a mini vend store, making and selling ready farms. Do be advised that passive profit methods do not generate much compared to normal profit methods & they take quite a while before profits are seen as they're "lazy profit methods".

Let me provide you with an example of how this works.

Let's say player A did not harvest their calendars for 10 days, and player A decides to punch it. It will drop 10 days worth of rewards as they are all accumulated up.

On the other hand, we have player B, who punches the calendar every day when it is ready to harvest. The rewards are not accumulated up since they are harvested and taken out daily. Thus, this will result in 1 reward given per daily punch.

Yes, BFG is basically a "free block breaking world". The main purpose of such worlds is to get others to break their blocks for them, but they get gems in return.

2k gems isn't a lot, it is achievable but you'll have to spend quite some time BFGing.

BFGs are one of the easiest and most common ways to earn gems in modern day Growtopia.

There's also something I'd like to point out. The choice of farmables (the floating block in the machine) actually matters, as it decides how many gems you could get out of it and how efficient they are in "generating gems" for breakers.

I'd suggest going with Laser Grids, Pepper Trees or Chandeliers. These three drops quite a good amount of gems when broken, which makes getting gems easier.
