each harvest counts towards 1 for the quest

Salmon Eggs is one of the best and cheaper options, doesn't really give high LB catches at one go but overall has higher fish catch rates compared to all the other fishing baits and is a perfectly cheap option.

Any rod works, would be best if you could get Licorice Rod to hasten the process up. Otherwise, just consume a Trawlerman's Friend for the Licorice Rod effect. Note that both of the said items do not stack up.

Depo is a short form for "Deposit".

It is commonly known to 'mitigate losses' by having the buyer transfer the seller a certain amount of World Locks before said service is provided to the buyer. However, this may also lead to the buyer being scammed.

Yeah the deposit system is quite prone to scammers, but it is the only "guarantee" for the sellers who are providing the services as well.

If you are worried, make the fossil quest yourself or find quest seller's worlds with buyers in it, then watch them do their quest to verify whether the owner is trustable or not

There are many variations of carnival quests, and some are not really "predictable" such as deliver < > items.

The most common quests which are prepared beforehand and sold are : fossil quests, shatter quest, kill quest, boss ghost (super troublesome, needs a few players to help you as well) and provider quest.

For fossil quest, you'll just have to let the player punch the prep station with the fossil prepped already. You can create a depo system if you are worried that the buyer may steal your prep station or the reward;

For shatter quest, you need to harmonize crystals till they are perfectly balanced on the chi requirement, then public the lock and let the buyer punch the harmonized crystal. This requires a bit of work beforehand, harmonizing takes quite a while

For boss ghost quest, you need to spawn and keep the boss ghost under control with a few of your friends, then pull the quest buyers and let them damage the boss ghost. You need to constantly power up the Containment Power Nodes for this to work and keep everything in check
