One can also prepare ingredients for Eggnog and Gingerbread Cookie (may obtain Gingerbread Man at >= 95% quality with the required Growch Heart level unlocked). Demand for Eggnog will increase for players who plan to profit by decorating their Giving Trees.

One can also prepare Wolf Whistles. When Growch heart level reaches 11, Snow Leopard Tail will be obtainable from successfully completing WOLFWORLD parkours. Based on previous years, the price of Wolf Whistles peaked at ~28 when the heart level was reached.

One can also prepare for Winterfest by preparing fishing baits prior to the event. Fishing is the cheapest way to get Tree Decorations during the event.

A few notable seeds one could also hold to prepare for Winterfest would be Dark Grey Block & Dark Brown Block, Sugar Cane and Ice seeds. There are a few blocks which recipes are limited to Winterfest, and they rise off-event.

I could provide you an example with Emerald Pickaxe. It was about 40dls± during St. Patricks and has reached ~77dls currently. Part of the item's recipe is event restricted, which causes its rise in price.
