A Gift of Growganoth pack costs 15,000 Gems each, and grants 10 chests. Last year, DKOs peaked at ~26 each I believe, and that's nearly 576.9/WL gem rates back.

Thing is, this is a gacha pack. If you get just one Spooky Gift from it, it already generates you profit.

Yeah that's the only possible reason I can think of gem rates rising (#🧙game-advice message), other than for Wonder Week purposes (which does not seem realistic to me as they still lose out with these gem rates even when reselling on the first few minutes of the item being released)
