When they grow, you should break them and sell the seeds; it generally isn't worth planting low quantities of seeds and waiting for them to grow, you'd be wasting time doing so.

What you can do instead would be to purchase the blocks > breaking them > selling the seeds > repeat the cycle. This way, your profit comes from gems and you won't have to wait for the trees to grow.

You can do that with the 10 you have on hand as well. If you do not own a Geiger Counter yet, I suggest BFGing for a few more WLs and getting it

It is just a suggestion though. Planting low quantities of Pepper Tree seeds and waiting for a day for it to grow is a waste of time.

In the breaking phase, the estimated ratio of seeds dropped from breaking blocks is 1:4 and is fixed for all blocks and consumables which has a chance of dropping seeds
No matter block or consumables, it will return seeds (if it does drop any) from using the said item at an estimated ratio of 1 : 4

Though not mentioned here, you can also go for the Halloween event exclusive Daily Challenge (dropping items in the Maw for points, using of Sigil O Ktesh does not count towards points). You can somewhat consider this as a form of profit method as well if you win

Other ways of profiting may also include cooking Trawlerman's Friend (while also getting cheap ingredients), BFGing for gems to get DKO's parts. There are many ways of profiting during the event, though some may be pretty obvious
